Pie 'n' Mash Films award winning maverick film director Bill Maloney and his gutsy camerawoman Lilly Starr joined in the protest. They were held captive, and shot film from within. Over two days Maloney interviews supporters and activists along with Billy Bragg. He reports on the brutal death of Ian Tomlinson, of the police assault on protester Nicola Fisher and exposes the insensitivity and brutality of the police as protesters returned to pay their respects to Mr Tomlinson on the second day.

"G20 Raw" shows you what the major broadcasters won't. As cockney-speaking Irishman Bill Maloney tells the BBC Newsnight interviewer outside the Excel Centre:

"You won't show this! The BBC keep pissing out the same 60 second newsclips all day! - If we want to know about the war we go to Al Jazeera, not the fucking BBC!"
