Update on Bill Maloney's message to Theresa May and relevant parties.

At 12.01 Thursday 1 January 2015 I confirm the following email was sent directly to Theresa May and CC'd to the Home Affairs Select Committee plus other relevant parties (As previously referred to 25th December 2014) To date a small number of automated responses have been received .... We will keep readers updated as the situation progresses:

BILL MALONEY’S OPEN CHRISTMAS MESSAGE TO FELLOW VICTIMS OF CHILD ABUSE AND THERESA MAY 25 December 2014.

Hello everybody! Firstly, I would like to say to all my fellow victims and survivors, I understand that there are many, many, many of you who find Christmas more of an ordeal than a pleasure. To your perpetrators I say: “This Christmas, more so than any other, there is a power that has been building against you. That power consists of millions of voices that are coming over the hills, over the mountains, across the seas and through fire to bring your deeds to an end because the heinous crimes that you are guilty of have held this world back from being the beautiful blue planet that all decent human beings are striving for. This is not a threat, this is fact!”

For those of you that are not victims but are fighting for those of us that are screaming to be heard I say: “May the light of truth and love be with you all!”

To go back to the victims, I say to you: “Use your voices, show no fear, for we must be allowed to speak for ourselves, we must be allowed to build our inquiry. We don’t trust Theresa May, so let’s sack her! She is complicit in the sanitisation of our stories and our exposures of the elite.” Tonight, as we relive the horrors that were put upon us as children, let us also remember our fellow victims that have been tortured in the most heinous ways over days/months/years and eventually killed and disposed of by members of Parliament, members of Royal Families and the elite of this world, whether they committed the crime of murder or ordered the killing and disposal of our brothers and sisters. No more fucking about!

MESSAGE FOR THERESA MAY:

“We will have our day, you have taken the piss out of millions of us. You are restricting who talks to you and who doesn’t talk to you. I am sending you this message and your reply (or lack of), will be posted in conjunction with this piece. Your lack of maternal instinct i.e. ‘motherly’ instinct, does not sit comfortable in our hearts, and that Madam, on its own, is a good enough reason for you to hang your head in shame and walk away. We are not stupid, we would never have chosen ‘Sloss’ or ‘Woolf’ , we would grudgingly allow you one mistake i.e. ‘Sloss’ but not Woolf! …. How can this be an independent inquiry? When you, The Home Secretary, are putting forward WHO should represent us and also dictating terms of reference and what kind of inquiry it should be. Were you abused as a child? Or perhaps your siblings? If so, come forward, if not let the victims speak for themselves, we neither need or want you, you are there to protect the sick system. You will fail to protect the system by covering its evil doings and at the end of the day will answer to the higher power before 2015 is done.

“The satanic ritual abuse that Geoffrey Dickens (deceased) is strongly and courageously exposing on the internet is coming into play. Today ‘Christmas Day’, the whole of England has come to a standstill because of the birth of Jesus Christ, I would like to quote Jesus Christ to you and to your family especially: “If anyone hurts a child that is a friend of mine they may as well tie a millstone around their neck and throw themselves into the sea”. I bring your family into this to help you to understand the sufferings that you will leave behind for them if you do not do the right thing. Your Queen is the head of the Church of England, but she and her family allows Satanism to be practiced in Her Majesty’s Royal Navy.

“I will discard my anger for what I am about to say next. Myself, my Parents and my seven siblings were abused by the Establishments of England and Ireland. I have siblings who have died in mysterious circumstances ALL of them have fought in their own ways to expose the filthy dark souls, some of whom you have sat with. Does that not give you an inkling that you are in the same situation, if not worse, than Sloss or Woolf?

“We need the ‘STREET’ sitting on our panel, people who speak the common language of the common people that this whole Country understands.

“I end my conversation with you in this manner: I demand, on behalf of all victims and survivors, that you meet with the team that I have been working with, which includes serving and retired police officers, members of the alternative media and the national media. Because what you are about to start investigating, we have been investigating for many years. If you are to become anywhere near as courageous as the people that I have been working with, now is the time to redeem yourself. Your apologies to us have always been ‘read’ by you, or spoken, as a bad actor would deliver an unbelievable performance at a bad audition. As we say: “Throw away the acting!”

GOD BLESS ALL VICTIMS AND SURVIVORS. Oh! And dare I say “HAPPY CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL and a PEACEFUL NEW YEAR.”

A MESSAGE TO ALL VICTIMS OF CHILD ABUSE:

The loneliness that you all feel as individuals is slowly but surely leading you into darker and darker places. Aggression and ridicule that is being fired in your direction by the ones who practise or protect one of the worst crimes known to humanity i.e. paedophilia, carries no weight in the world of decency. This evil destruction will never be able to be fully transmitted within the written word. My message to you all is a message that promotes arrogance, disrespect and pity for the perpetrators; they must be shown no mercy within the law. The abuse of animals, in many cases, is punished more severely than paedophilia.

When Cyril Smith MP was alive, he was accused of paedophilic crimes when David Steel MP came to his rescue with the statement: "All he seems to have done is spanked a few bare bottoms" - When disc-jockey Jonathan King was charged for paedophilic crimes Simon Cowell put up £50K towards his bail. - When prolific billionaire paedophile Jeffrey Epstein was released from prison after serving a sentence for paedophilic crimes Prince Andrew was seen walking with him in Central Park NY; Prince Andrew has had sex with underage prostitutes and his royal family were very close to the outrageously disgusting paedophile ‘SIR’ Jimmy Saville. Epstein had permission to fly his private jet into military bases in this country; at least one young girl, or boy always accompanied him. - The list is endless, there are many celebrities and back-room workers within the entertainment industry that are heavily involved in the abuse, torture and murder of children and distribution of snuff movies. Simple facts like these that scratch the surface and appear spasmodically in our ‘so-called’ national media must tear your hearts out.

To all victims I say: Leave the bottles and the drugs to one side – that is the main step for you all to take. This will clear your mind and give you the strength and clarity to follow through with your convictions, instead of being eaten by alcohol and drugs; an army cannot survive on alcohol and drugs!  If you can all do this, then we shall spread our battle to the whole world.

To all you paedophiles, I ask you to come forward, declare yourselves, your crimes and your associates, you will then close your eyes and travel towards the light more peacefully when you meet your end, however that may be.  God is not a figment of people’s imagination; he is the light, the truth and the love of our blue planet. My advice to you comes in one-word:

“DISCLOSE”.

God bless all victims & survivors.

Bill Maloney.

DAVID CAMERON DISCUSSES ‘THE MEDOMSLEY HEROES’ at Prime Minister's Question Time

BREAKTHROUGH FOR ‘THE MEDOMSLEY HEROES’ and victims of prolific paedophile and senior prison officer Neville Husband of the ‘former’ Medomsley Detention Centre! After The Guardian Newspaper saw Pie and Mash Film’s documentary ADAM RICKWOOD & THE MEDOMSLEY HEROES and published the story of the survivors of Neville Husband things have moved swiftly ….

PRIME MINISTER’S QUESTION TIME 23 MAY 2012

http://www.parliament.uk/business/news/2012/may/prime-ministers-questions-23-may-2012/

From 31:38 to end of video

SPEAKER:

“I do want to hear Mr McCann”

MICHAEL MCCANN (MP – Labour):

“Mr Speaker, Prison Officer Neville Husband abused young men in the Medomsley Detention Centre for decades before he was prosecuted and sentenced for some of his crimes.

A Constituent who was abused by Husband has given me information which suggests that senior figures in the Establishment knew what was going on.

The CPS refuses to pursue these matters and instead the Home Office has sought to issue compensation payments.

Mr Speaker, young men were detained by the State and then they were abuse by the State. Does the Prime Minister agree with me that a full enquiry is necessary to insure that justice is done and is seen to be done?”

DAVID CAMERON (Prime Minister - Conservative):

“Well I think the first thing that the honourable gentleman should do, and I’m sure he already has, is make sure that any evidence he has of abuse, or of cover-ups of abuse, or compliance with abuse, is given too the Crown Prosecution Service and given too the authorities so it can be properly investigated.

The Home Affairs Select Committee on which I sat actually looked into this issue in years gone past, made a number of recommendations, so I’ll look ‘carefully’ at what the honourable gentleman said and see if there’s more advice I can provide.”

How can the prison service move on if it won't apologise for child abuse? BY ERIC ALLISON

Adam Rickwood & The Medomsley Heroes

As a prison correspondent, few stories have angered me as much as the abuse of young detainees by Neville Husband

"We were alerted to this horror story by a powerful no-budget film, Adam Rickwood and the Medomsley Heroes, produced by Pie and Mash Films. It was never broadcast but is available on YouTube. It is a long and angry account of the anguish caused by Husband, exacerbated by the system that protected him. It does not make comfortable viewing. Those who betrayed the boys in their charge ought to be made to watch it."

Adam Rickwood & The Medomsley Heroes
As prisons correspondent for the Guardian, I have covered many stories that have angered me. It could hardly be otherwise, writing as I am about a penal system that fails so spectacularly in so many areas.

But I have never been more enraged than in researching and co-writing a piece about sexual abuse in prisons.

The story was about perhaps the most prolific sex offender this country has ever seen. Neville Husband was a prison officer who, in 1969, was moved from Portland borstal, Dorset, to the Medomsley detention centre, county Durham, where he ran the kitchen for 15 years. It is likely that, on every working day of that period, he sexually abused young detainees in his charge. Those were young, vulnerable boys, many of them from the care system, too terrified to complain.

My anger is not directed at Husband, who was sentenced to 10 years in jail for his crimes, and is now dead. It is instead aimed at the system and those in it who, at all levels, protected him and betrayed his victims. They are fellow officers who, at Husband's trial, testified they knew "something was going on". "Husband used to keep one boy behind in the kitchen at night," said one, "we always felt sorry for that boy." Felt sorry? Then why didn't you do something about it and put an end to Husband's reign of terror, an end to the misery his victims suffered? I am also angry at the various governors at Medomsley, who approved Husband's request to stay there when promotion and transfer beckoned. Angry at those who knew of his previous arrest for possession of child pornography – depicting teenage boys – while he was at Portland. (Husband was not charged, because he was "thinking about writing a book on homosexuality" and the material seized was for "research".) I'm angry at Durham police officers who ignored the complaints of some of the victims who went to them after being released and who failed to move on him even after an accomplice of his had been arrested for abuse, and told them he had "been given a boy" by Husband.

My anger is also directed at people at the top of the prison service who, when some victims sought compensation, fought the claim all the way to the House of Lords. Politicians like then minister of justice Jack Straw who said, after those victims hoped the system would apologise to them, that "an apology was not part of the settlement". Really, Mr Straw? You could not say sorry to victims who, in some cases, were tied up and raped by an officer of the crown? And let's not forget the current prison service which responded to our request for a comment on Husband's abuse thus: "In the late 1970s, several detainees held at Medomsley detention centre were physically and sexually abused by Neville Husband. At no stage has the Ministry of Justice attempted to defend the actions of Mr Husband. The prison service has come a long way since the 1980s and significant efforts have been made to eliminate, so far as is possible, the mistreatment of prisoners."

"Several" detainees? Any rational examination of the evidence against Husband would conclude he abused hundreds, possibly thousands, of boys during his awful tenure. As for not defending Husband's actions, fighting compensation claims all the way to the House of Lords looks pretty much like defending his actions to me. The prison service did not bother to send an observer to Husband's trial and told the victims' lawyers it had "no plans" to carry out a review, or investigation, after the civil action. The Crown Prosecution Service decided not to prosecute Husband over alleged abuse at Deerbolt young offenders institution because it would "not be in the public interest". Is that "moving on"?

In order to "move on" from a problem, it has to be first acknowledged and then addressed. There still has never been an inquiry into how Husband was allowed to abuse so many people over so many years, and to try to ensure it never happens again. As Nick Hardwick, chief inspector of prisons, told the Guardian: "It would be dangerously complacent to imagine these things could only happen in the past. There is always a danger that in closed institutions – be they prisons, children's homes or hospitals – abusive behaviour by some staff becomes the accepted norm. We need to recognise the vulnerability inherent in the situation of every detainee."

We were alerted to this horror story by a powerful no-budget film, Adam Rickwood and the Medolmsley Heroes, produced by Pie and Mash Films. It was never broadcast but is available on YouTube. It is a long and angry account of the anguish caused by Husband, exacerbated by the system that protected him. It does not make comfortable viewing. Those who betrayed the boys in their charge ought to be made to watch it.

  • Millionaire is now being investigated over shocking suggestions he distorted the assessments to fit the view of social services
  • Lib Dem MP writes to Justice Secretary Ken Clarke demanding a full parliamentary inquiry

By Katherine Faulkner

DAILY MAIL PUBLISHED:| UPDATED:

A leading psychiatrist faces extraordinary claims he deliberately misdiagnosed parents with mental disorders – decisions which meant their children were taken away from them.

Dr George Hibbert faces being struck off over his conclusions that hundreds had ‘personality disorders’ after assessing them at his private family centre.

He was paid hundreds of thousands of pounds by social services for the reports which tore children from their parents – many of them young mothers.

He is now being investigated over shocking suggestions he distorted the assessments to fit the view of social services.

In one case, he is alleged to have wrongly diagnosed a ‘caring’ new mother –  named only as Miss A – with bipolar disorder because her local authority wanted the  baby adopted.

After being confronted with this allegation, Dr Hibbert offered to surrender his licence to practise as a doctor rather than face a General Medical Council inquiry.

But his request has been rejected by the GMC which says there are still ‘unresolved concerns regarding his fitness to practise’. He will now face a full fitness to practise hearing.

Yesterday John Hemming MP, who has raised concerns about Dr Hibbert in Parliament, described the claims as shocking.

The Lib Dem MP – alerted by a whistle-blower – said he had since spoken to ‘three or four’ other families who said the same had happened to them.

He has written to Justice Secretary Ken Clarke demanding a full parliamentary inquiry.

Mr Hemming said: ‘He is someone about whom a number of people have complained. I am told that at least one person has refused to work for him because of what she saw as his unethical provision of reports to suit the demands of local authorities.

Rich: Two Porsches can be seen parked outside the home of Dr Hibbert near Swindon. He is worth more than £2.7million

‘Much of the decision making in care proceedings rests on reports from experts such as Dr Hibbert,’ he told Parliament.

He added that supposedly independent experts such as Dr Hibbert, 59, were often little more than ‘the hired gun of the local authority’.

The lack of transparency over such experts was leading to ‘thousands of miscarriages of justice in care proceedings’.

'It seemed like nobody got out without their baby being taken away'

Earlier this week, a study for the Family Justice Council revealed how life-changing decisions about the care of children are routinely being made on the basis of flawed evidence. A fifth of ‘experts’ who advise the family courts are unqualified.

Dr Hibbert charged local authorities £6,000 a week for every family in his care and £210 an hour just to read documents such as medical records.

By 2007 his company, Assessment in Care, was making a profit of around £460,000 a year from  his lucrative arrangement with social services.

He is now worth more than  £2.7million. Last night a black Porsche Turbo, thought to be worth around £120,000, and a grey Porsche 911 Carrera, worth around £80,000, were parked on the gravel driveway outside his £500,000 country cottage.

A former honorary lecturer at Oxford University, who has previously advised the government on care assessments, Dr Hibbert left the NHS to set up his private assessment centre in 2000.

Since then, hundreds of parents in contact with social services – usually mothers and babies – have been referred to his centre to  be assessed.

Concerns were first raised in 2007, when mother Miss A complained that Dr Hibbert had wrongly diagnosed her with a bipolar disorder.

One consultant psychiatrist accused Dr Hibbert of having ‘no evidence’ for some of his claims and of deliberately ‘exaggerating’ and ‘misrepresenting’ aspects of the woman’s behaviour.

Her report is among a number of documents being examined by the GMC with regards to Dr Hibbert.

Miss A, who has seen her son just a few times since, said Dr Hibbert was ‘corrupt and evil.’

‘Nothing will ever make up for what he has done to me and my child,’ Miss A said. ‘I want to make sure this man is exposed and that he can never do this to anybody else.’

In a letter sent to Miss A, a GMC investigations officer confirmed Dr Hibbert ‘has now applied for voluntary erasure from the medical register’.

In demand: Dr Hibbert was paid hundreds of thousands of pounds by social services for reports which tore children from their parents ¿ many of them young mothers

In demand: Dr Hibbert was paid hundreds of thousands of pounds by social services for reports which tore children from their parents - many of them young mothers

The letter continued: ‘He has no intention of returning to clinical practice in the future.’

However, the GMC officer concluded it was in the ‘public interest’ for his request to be denied ‘in view of the nature of the performance allegations and in the view of the conduct concerns.’

He has not been available for comment at his two-storey detached cottage in the small village of Blunsdon near Swindon. His assessment centre next to his home appeared to be closed.

From Wednesday's Mail

A spokesman for Dr Hibbert at the Medical Protection Society, the indemnity organisation for doctors, said professional confidentiality meant Dr Hibbert was ‘unable to comment on allegations raised in relation to care of a patient’.

Paul Grant, of Bernard Chill & Axtell Solicitors, who represents Miss A, said: ‘Our client has instructed us to launch proceedings against Dr Hibbert and the local authority.

‘We believe this distressing case may be the tip of a very big iceberg.’

Bill Maloney under nelson's column again

Survivors, victims and supporters against child abuse gathered in Trafalgar Square on Mother's Day to share their tragic stories and for their voices to be heard. Filmmakers Bill Maloney & Lilly Starr (Pie and Mash Films) capture the passion, energy and talent from amongst societies growing number of abuse survivors.
Amongst the brave and amazing speakers and people interviewed were: The family of Rochelle Holness (15) murdered and dismembered by a child sex offender Jane Sterne — Author of Destroyed Social Services Hell — Families destroyed by SS Hollie Demands Justice and Occupy Trafalgar Square for the Alternative

Billy Maloney & Lilly Starr at the March for the Alternative 26 March 2011

Why are we marching today?

Bill Maloney (Pie and Mash Films):

“I am marching today to show unity with the normal man/woman on the street in making our outrage heard about the inhumane distribution of wealth sanctioned by the governments and engineered by the banking industry. The bankers gambled and raped us of OUR money, then took more of OUR money to bail themselves out and continue to award themselves HUGE BONUSES using OUR money again. I’ll be filming from within and will be asking protesters, organisers and police their opinions.” I'm also seizing every opportunity to raise the issue of Child Abuse.

Bill Maloney challenged Ed Balls about institutional child abuse but Balls didn't want to talk (Broadcast live then edited for further reports): http://coverupjersey.blogspot.com/2011/03/bill-maloney-talks-sense-ed-talks-balls.html

Here are some views already shared in The Guardian:

From lawyers to factory workers and first-time protesters – we are marching for the alternative TODAY.

Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND):

"Why can we always find money for war? This is a big question – and today it is as stark as ever. That's why it's so important to link the anti-war and anti-cuts messages."

UK Un-Cut:

“UK Uncut will join hundreds of thousands of others at the massive March for the Alternative, to demand an end to the government's cuts. The march represents an important moment in the anti-cuts campaign, and we have been encouraging everybody to join in. Marching alone will not stop this government.”

Teacher (First time protestor):

"Why am I marching this time? Not against the whole "austerity package" – I'm sure savings can be made – but the specific plight of the public library."

National Union of Teachers (NUT):

“We believe this demonstration is really important and that the government must take note of the concerns of so many people.

Bus Driver:

“I will march with other members of my union, Unite, because I fear my family will suffer from the sudden and drastic cuts undertaken by the coalition government.”

Burton Food Representatives:

“We are marching on Saturday because, as a country, we have witnessed many long-established businesses close due to alleged unprofitability and "restructuring", which is primarily designed to enable the selling on of businesses at inflated prices. This is also a reflection of the aggressive way venture capitalists and asset management companies strip money from businesses like ours and then simply move on to the next project, with no thought about the impact on people's lives.”

National Campaign Against Fees and Cuts:

“On 9 December, when tens of thousands of students and supporters marched on that parliamentary vote, we had two wishes: first, that the weather get better; and second, that the official structures of the trade union movement do their job and swing behind the radical movement that had grown in the streets in a matter of weeks.

At last it seems that sections of the trade union movement are mobilising behind a serious and concerted opposition to the government's ideology.”

Pie and Mash Films footage will be available tomorrow.

Royal Child exploitation

Following the breaking news exposing Prince Andrew and his weekly connections with convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein it is imperative that supporters against child abuse study these videos and the related links closely to help expose the bigger picture of child abuse within the British Monarchy and sanctioned by the Government, whatever party:

Rochelles “Mothers Day” Peace March 2011

All you wonderful and beautiful mothers who have lost your children to murder, and those who have not !

Jennifer Bennett mother of Rochelle Holness 1990-2005, invites you to get together on Mother’s Day to have a peaceful march in memory of our Angels, and to campaign that the law is tougher on sex offenders and murderers of children.

Legally abducted children

L.A.C- Legally Abducted Children. As a group we are here to help, and support each other. We are trying to fight to change the way our children are abducted by the Social services, and to highlight the growing problem in the UK

R.I.P Rochelle Holness ~ 1990-2005

Rochelle Holness was 15yrs when she was stolen from her family whilst going to phone box to call her boyfriend. This tradegy has broken her mum and her brothers, family and friends. I cant begin to describe the torment they go through everyday. However they are doing their best to continue in this cold world. I know Rochelle their heavenly angel watches over them and gives them the strength to carry on.

May 2006

A convicted rapist who murdered a 15-year-old girl before dumping her mutilated body in bin bags has been jailed for life. John McGrady, 48, strangled and dismembered Rochelle Holness, who vanished in Catford, south London, in September 2005.

Her family said the sentence was a “just reflection of the heinous crime committed against Rochelle”. McGrady, originally from Belfast, had admitted murdering Rochelle. A statement read out on behalf of the family outside the Old Bailey said that they hoped “life means life”.

Second Inquest into Adam Rickwood's death

Second inquest into youngest inmate death

A second inquest is due to be held into how a 14-year-old boy from Burnley hanged himself at a secure unit and became Britain's youngest person to die in a penal institution in modern times.

Adam Rickwood, from Burnley, was found in his rooms at Hassockfield Secure Training Centre, County Durham, in August 2004, hours after he had been physically restrained by a member of staff.

The teenager had been on remand for more than a month, was 150 miles away from his family and had written letters to relatives threatening suicide.

An initial inquest held three years ago found the boy deliberately took his own life.

However, that verdict was overturned by the High Court in January 2009, and a fresh inquest ordered. Adam's family won a legal battle so the original coroner, Andrew Tweddle, did not preside over the second hearing.

The assistant deputy coroner, Jeremy Freedman, will hear the three-week inquest at Durham County Council Office, Easington.

Adam's mother, Carol Pounder, is due to give evidence on the first day. The inquest will consider, among other issues, how restraint is used against children, the impact it had on Adam, whether it contributed to his death and the supervision of children in the criminal justice system.

The pressure group Inquest, whose lawyers represent Adam's family, said the case "reignites concerns over the treatment of children by the criminal justice system".

Its statement added: "Adam's death and the issue of both when force can be used and the deliberate use of painful force by staff against children has attracted substantial parliamentary and public disquiet and led to calls for a radical overhaul of the way the state treats children in conflict with the law."

UK RALLY AGAINST CHILD ABUSE 2010 WHAT A SUCCESS

WHAT AN INCREDIBLE DAY!

BILL MALONEY COMMITS TREASON AS PROMISED - SEE THE OPENING RALLY SPEECH

Award winning filmmaker and child abuse survivor Bill Maloney delivers his opening speech at the UK Rally Against Child Abuse 2010. Thanks go to organisers 'Truth-and-Hope' and 'Cross of Change' - without them survivors voices wouldn't be anywhere near as loud.
Maloney intentionally publicly commits the act of Treason by directly accusing the Monarchy of collaborations and cover-ups to conceal their involvement with child sex abuse.
In addition Maloney goes on to reference the Pope's Vatican City, which until Jan 2009 had an age of sexual consent of only 12 yrs. After the release of the documentary 'Sun Sea & Satan' the Vatican's laws on the age of sexual consent came in line with the rest of Italy and now stands at 14 yrs.

Every member of parliament was invited to the UK Rally Against Child Abuse by Pie and Mash Films - NOT ONE attended or even replied to the emails sent. "THAT'S HOW MUCH THEY CARE!"
Citizens need to wake up to the very real dangers of placing their trust in the Establishment and Authorities, particularly when children are involved. Target driven inexperienced social services departments are increasingly, routinely and silently taking children from loving caring parents whilst the majority of the population continue their lives unaware of how close they could be these dangers.
At Pie and Mash Films we produce documentaries highlight the Establishments huge failings in child care. The Children are the future. STOP CHILD ABUSE NOW! See the Rally photo gallery on our facebook page 'Pie n Mash Films'.

Families & Friends Unite

22nd May 2010 (see footnote)

Families and campaigners gathered in Leicester to pay tribute to those that had died in custody.

At a meeting and event organised by the 4WardEver UK Campaign in association with the Friends of Mikey Powell Campaign for Justice, Habib Ullah Campaign and the Leicester Civil Rights Movement, there was no mistaking the serious issues being addressed. See Picture Gallery >

Banners and posters of dead loved ones adorned the walls and stage, the hall was crowded with stalls of books and DVDs and information on families and organisations campaigning on deaths in custody, films were shown and family members and campaigners gave speeches. And, in a grand finale to the evening, entertainment was provided by Yaz Alexander, Lennox Carty, The Trooperz, Genesis Elijah and The Broombusters – which went down a storm.

Priya Thamotheram, the manager of the Highfields Centre, opened proceedings by talking about the centre having a history as a base of community campaigns and how the Leicester Civil Rights Movement (LCRM), which will be celebrating its tenth birthday later this year, was established at the centre to meet the needs of vulnerable asylum seekers being dispersed to the area. Asylum seekers are still there and now, increasingly, experiencing destitution as a result of inhumane asylum laws.

The day marked what would have been the forty-fifth birthday of Mikey Powell, who died in September 2003 after being detained by police in Birmingham. Mikey, who was suffering from mental health problems, was knocked down by a police car, restrained with batons and CS spray and taken to Thornhill Road police station where he was found not to be breathing. In November 2009, an inquest jury found that Mikey died as a result of the position the police officers had placed him in the van.

Tippa Naphtali from the Friends of Mikey Powell Campaign for Justice and 4WardEver UK asked the meeting a simple question, ‘why are we here?’ He went on, ‘the people we pay are killing members of our families. They have a duty of care to people in detention.’

He also paid tribute to other May anniversaries of people that have died in custody, on death row and by police assaults including Delara Darabi, Brian Douglas, Police bombing of The MOVE HQ, Kebba ‘Dobo’ Jobe, and John Maloney.

Jane Deighton, solicitor for the family of Mikey Powell, commended the inquest jury for having seen through the evidence presented by the police to bring in a verdict that had helped the family gain some sort of justice. The family of Mikey Powell, in turn, paid tribute to the hard work and support of their solicitor and barrister.

Deborah Coles from INQUEST, the organisation which assists the families of those who die in custody, paid tribute to the families of those that die and the anti-racist campaigns which support families in their long fights for justice. She also spoke about the history of INQUEST, which was established following the death of Blair Peach in 1979, and the long campaign by his family to find out how he died. That campaign, led by his partner Celia Stubbs, had now, thirty-one years after his death, been vindicated in the publication of an internal police investigation report which found that police officers from the Special Patrol Group were responsible for Blair’s death.

The day also marked the second anniversary of the death of Pauline Campbell. Ken Fero’s moving interview with her outside the Houses of Parliament was a fitting tribute to a mother who transformed herself into a determined and dogged campaigner on the issue of deaths of women in prison after her daughter died at Styal prison in January 2003. Pauline was arrested on fourteen occasions while protesting outside prisons where young women died. In the film, Pauline talked about her motivation for campaigning and criticised her prosecutions for public order offences as ‘political trials’, commenting, ’shame on the establishment for seeking to criminalise a mother who has lost her only child at the hands of the state’.

Bishop Jonathan Blake from campaign group When No-One’s Watching spoke about their work to have all officers dealing with the public fitted with body cameras, including police cars and vans.

Bill Maloney spoke and presented a video report on the death of Ian Tomlinson by Pie ‘N’ Mash Films  as was a film on the campaign following the death of Habib Ullah in High Wycombe in July 2008. Zia Ullah, Habib’s cousin called on the ‘courts to recognise that that there are trained professional people committing murder’. He also called on families to ‘come together’ in solidarity over the deaths of loved ones.

The families of Paul Coker who died after being restrained by up to fifteen police officers at the flat of his girlfriend, and Sean Rigg whose tragic death rocked a community; also spoke movingly about the deaths of their loved ones, and their determination to hold the police and other authorities to account for the degrading and inhumane treatment of their loved ones. A short film was shown on Sean’s case.

Harmit Athwal from The Institute of Race Relations commented; ‘Some campaigners and the public at large often find the issue of deaths in custody a difficult one to address. People who die may have been serving sentences for criminal offences, may have been under arrest on suspicion of criminal offences or may have been suffering from mental health problems or been under the influence of drugs. ‘But what emerged so strongly from the gathering at Leicester, composed of both family members and legal fighters, was that despite whatever human frailties the deceased may have had, their human rights had not been preserved. The families felt violated on behalf of their loved ones. They carry on fighting so that others may not suffer the personal indignities that were imposed on their family members’.

Nick Clegg challenged by Bill Maloney in Blackheath

The angry voter who ‘heckled’ Nick Clegg in Blackheath is award winning documentary film director Bill Maloney who has recently himself come forward as a victim of institutional child abuse.

Maloney’s Question to Nick Clegg began: “I want to ask you the same question that made David Dimbleby call for me to be ejected from the BBC Question Time that followed the first leaders debate.

“What are you going to do about Institutional paedophile rings that are operating in this country now? Also, when are we going to open up the secret family courts?

“What are you going to do about private companies like Serco who are receiving up to £200K per year for each child that the courts incarcerate into their care?

All these children come from the lower classes; they are stealing our children.”

Nick Clegg’s reply was “Well firstly, I don’t understand what you mean by institutional child abuse”.

Maloney replied: “You don’t know what I’m talking about? You look as shaken as David Dimbleby was by the question”. The crowd began to heckle by singing “We agree with Nick! We agree with Nick!”.

Maloney began to shout his questions again but was drowned out by the crowd. Maloney left of his own accord as security moved towards him.

Nick Clegg did not answer the question.

Why Bill Maloney was thrown out of Question Time by David Dimbleby

Award winning documentary filmmaker Bill Maloney’s account and explanation for his ejection from BBC Question Time by David Dimbleby following the first ‘Leaders Debate’ 15 April 2010

By Bill Maloney

I applied to attend the audience for Question Time as a documentary filmmaker who has been investigating institutional child abuse for the last ten years. i.e. children in care, young offenders institutions, secret family courts etc. I wanted to exercise my right to speak as a British citizen and as a victim of institutional child abuse and believe it is my democratic right to freedom of speech.

There is currently a grave mistrust of our politicians. During this election campaign I have not witnessed any lower class citizens whom I represent have their right to speak up about their social concerns. This election is not just about economics, which our politicians are willing to talk about in intricate detail whilst skipping over questions on the lower class’s social dilemmas and the prejudice that is coming from the government and many middle-class voters against the lower classes.

Dimbleby Rocked By Questions Of Paedophilia And Murder

Just moments before Question Time went live David Dimbleby introduced the panel asking each of them what they would be doing the next day. Michael Gove (Shadow Secretary of State for Children Schools and Families) said it was his wife’s birthday and Dimbleby asked if he had bought her a present to which he replied, “I actually bought her four presents”. Asked what the presents were Gove replied “A linen suit, a designer hand bag and two other presents that I’m not prepared to divulge”.

I shouted “Did we pay for them Mr Gove?” which raised a laugh from the panel and audience. Dimbleby concluded with Nigel Farage MEP of UKIP who made a sanctimonious remark to which I shouted, “I don’t know why you’re so flippant, you’re guilty of stealing expenses the same as all the rest”. Dimbleby shook his finger and shouted directly at me: “If you are going to behave like this when we go on air I will have to tell you to leave.”

I responded by shouting: “If you want me to leave David tell me to leave. Don’t talk to me like I’m a piece of shit! You’ve got an angry electorate here and you select only five questions from 150? This is a biased audience which does not represent the lower classes.

“I'm a documentary filmmaker and I investigate Institutional child abuse; the restraining techniques that are killing lower working class kids in Young Offenders Institutions; and paedophile rings in government that are fucking our kids! You don’t like talking about the children do you David?”

Security was then called. As I was led out I turned to the panel shouting, “I’m here about the children, not about the economy. I've got more bollocks than all of you! Shame on you!" My producer and wife, who accompanied me continued by shouting: "Everyone in this audience should google Hollie Greig G.R.E.I.G and realise that the government does nothing!"

The security guards didn't touch me; in fact they looked quite shocked by the questions I had asked. We were then led out by the Producer

We submitted two questions to the show which were not selected:

  1. Considering the government has given £840 billion to bail out the banks, how much have they spent on getting 3.5 million children out of poverty? Give the £3.4 billion promised to get children out of poverty which ‘breeds’ crime.
  2. Considering it cost Australian taxpayers 200 million Australian dollars for the Popes visit there in 2008, how much is the government spending on the Pope’s visit to the UK? And should we allow the Pope, whose Vatican City has the lowest age of sexual consent in Europe of only 12 into the country at all?

I was hoping to hear from the political representatives on the panel of their disgust at having three children a week dying in our care institutions. I wanted to debate the brutal restraining techniques that guards and carers are using against children as young as eight. i.e. nose distraction, wrist restraints, double-seated embrace etc. There are serious injuries i.e. broken bones, suffocation etc every day. I also wanted to talk to them about institutional paedophile rings that have been and are still operating in this country. For example: google ‘Hollie Greig’.

Child prisons for profit

I would have been interested in the panel’s opinions on child poverty in this country along with the privatisation of our childcare homes and institutions, baring in mind 99% of children in care come from the lower classes. In my latest documentary Adam Rickwood & The Medomsley Heroes, I highlight the case of young Adam Rickwood who five years ago at the age of 14 was found hanging in his cell after being restrained by four guards at the young offenders institution now known as Hassockfield (formerly Medomsley) – google ‘Neville Husband’. Hassockfield is run by private company Serco, who receive £178,000 per year for each child. There are 57 places for children at Hassockfield, there are other institutions that hold up to 800 offenders. The lower class children have become very profitable to companies such as Serco. Many of the child prison guards and carers come from the military, police force etc. Many of these have severe psychological drug and alcohol problems and some of the highest divorce rates. Our childcare system has become more brutal than our adult prisons.

Vulnerable children used to pay mortages

Children from babies are being taken from poverty stricken families at birth and given to middle-class couples that receive a minimum of £380 per week per child and much more if the child is an infant or has special needs. Many foster parents foster more than one child – it appears that vulnerable parents are having their children stolen by the social services and being used to pay mortgages. The private companies who foster out our children do not have to inform their local council where the children have gone if they run away or leave care. Then we could go into institutional fostering – this is a broad intricate subject, which is never allowed to be debated passionately and openly with the involvement of past victims, their families and perpetrators by the national broadcasting companies. There is a massive movement building around the globe via the Internet on these subjects. Many former victims have now become professionals, i.e. documentary filmmakers, so the children have now become strong men and women motivated by their empathy for the unfortunate that are living it now. The victims are producing their own heroes – I use the term ‘Government Funded Child Abuse’.

As far as being removed from the Question Time audience my feelings are this:

The Questions and the debate that I managed to get from David Dimbleby in the Green Room before the show and during rehearsals would not have been allowed on air. I believe if I had attempted to debate the above issue on air the BBCs security response would have shut me down. I didn’t want to be buried under a mountain of guards while trying to get my point across. So I took the decision to challenge Dimbleby and the panel during the rehearsal. There were approx 150 people in the audience.

During the rehearsal my producer and myself submitted our questions, which we were told to write down on cards. These cards were then collected from the audience. Ultimately, our questions were not selected, bearing in mind, in the green room before rehearsals David Dimbleby said the question I had asked him was a good question. That question which I had to shout from the back of the green room went as follows:

MALONEY: David! Are you telling us that out of all these people here you are only going to allow five questions to be asked in one hour – all of which are being handpicked by the BBC?

DIMBLEBY: Have you seen Question Time before?

MALONEY: Oh yes! I’ve seen Question Time before David, but as you just said in your introduction, this is an historic moment. Question Time is going out after the first ever live debate of the three main candidates who want to run our democracy. Why can’t we have an open debate? For example I would like to know when Gordon Brown is going to give the £3.4 billion that they promised to the children to get 3 million children above the poverty line, as we all know that poverty breeds crime, dysfunctional families etc bearing in mind Gordon Brown has just given £840 billion to the greedy bankers.

DIMBLEBY: Well that’s a very good question so write it down and we’ll see what we can do.

When Dimbleby left the green room I stepped forward and shook his hand I said to him “Thank you David, I’m not hear to sit and watch, I can do that at home – I just want to ask a question and open a debate.”

Dimbleby said “Good!” and walked out.

By the time we had gone through rehearsals I realised that my question had not been selected, nor that of my producer as referred to above: Considering it cost Australian taxpayers 200 million dollars for the Popes visit there in 2008, how much is the government spending on the Pope’s visit to the UK? And should we allow the Pope, whose Vatican City has the lowest age of sexual consent in Europe of only 12 into the country at all?”

I therefore took the decision to question the panel before the show went on air. It was a very difficult decision to make on the spot and I understood the likelihood of missing out putting myself across live on air. This way I had clear straight dialogue with the panel and audience.

Being asked to leave for asking these questions did not surprise me as I had previously been asked to leave BBC Asian Network Radio a year ago for asking similar questions about child trafficking and child prostitution.

I would just like to emphasise it was David Dimbleby who gave the order for me to be ejected.

I knew I would be ejected but at least we have evidence of the lack of any intervention by any of the panel during the programme about the plight of our abused and lost children.

The case of Hollie Greig is a strong example of the cover-ups that are going on within government. The MPs expenses scandal is just the tip of the iceburg. On behalf of all abuse victims , all I wanted were our questions raised and debated as no politicians are willing to discuss these issues.

I am absolutely disgusted with the BBC, David Dimbleby and the rest of the panel. The children deserve a voice. God bless all victims.

Jack Straw CAUGHT lying - Video report by Bill Maloney

Maverick award winning filmmakers Bill Maloney and Lilly Starr expose Jack Straw clearly lying about children in care - Hear Straws lies on tape! VIDEO: Jack Straw CAUGHT lying about children in care - Bill Maloney Reports

In the lead up to the general election 2010 the Sun newspaper has introduced a regular slot for a London Black Cabbie to ask major politicians questions from 'the man on the street'. The Cabbie happens to be a personal friend of Bill Maloney who trained him to act almost five years ago.  Jack Straw recently took the back seat in the London cab and answered a number of questions. The Cabbie had recently seen and been outraged by a video report by Maloney and was keen to hear Jack Straws answer to this question:

Cabbie: "JACK! I HAD THIS FILMMAKER BILL MALONEY IN THE BACK OF MY CAB YESTERDAY. HE'S DOING A DOCUMENTARY ON CHILD ABUSE AND HE TOLD ME THAT LAST YEAR YOU CHANGED A LAW SO THAT IS NOW MAKES IT ILLEGAL FOR CHILDREN IN CARE TO SPEAK OUT, EVEN IF THEY FEEL THEY ARE BEING MALTREATED - IS THAT RIGHT JACK?"

Jack Straw: "NO! NO! ........ ONE HAS SO MUCH TO REMEMBER, OCCASIONALLY YOU HAVE MEMORY LAPSES AND I THINK I WOULD HAVE REMEMBERED THAT!"

Watch the full report to believe it. BILL MALONEY POINTS THE FINGER DIRECTLY AT JACK STRAW.

Dimbleby concluded with Nigel Farage MEP of UKIP who made a sanctimonious remark to which Maloney shouted, “I don’t know why you’re so flippant, you’re guilty of stealing expenses the same as all the rest”. Dimbleby shook his finger and shouted at Maloney “If you are going to behave like this when we go on air I will have to tell you to leave.”

Maloney responded by shouting “If you want me to leave David tell me to leave. Don’t talk to me like I’m a piece of shit! You’ve got an angry electorate here and you select only five questions from 150? This is a biased audience which does not represent the lower classes.”

“I'm a documentary filmmaker and I investigate Institutional child abuse; the restraining techniques that are killing lower working class kids in Young Offenders Institutions; and paedophile rings in government that are fucking our kids! You don’t like talking about the children do you David?”

Security was then called. As he was led out Maloney turned to the panel shouting, “I’m here about the children, not about the economy. I've got more bollocks than all of you! Shame on you!" Maloney’s wife continued by shouting "Everyone in this audience should google Hollie Greig G.R.E.I.G and realise that the government does nothing!"

The security guards didn't lay a finger on Maloney as he was led out by the Producer - in fact the security guards looked like they wanted to pat him on the back!

Maloney submitted two questions to the show which were not selected, one on the issue of crime:

  1. Considering the government has given £840 billion to bail out the banks, how much have they spent on getting 3.5 million children out of poverty? Give the £3.4 billion promised to get children out of poverty which ‘breeds’ crime.

The second was on the issue of institutional child abuse:

  1. Considering it cost Australian taxpayers 200 million dollars for the Popes visit there in 2008, how much is the government spending on the Pope’s visit to the UK? And should we allow the Pope, whose Vatican City has the lowest age of sexual consent in Europe of only 12 years, into the country at all?

All Maloney wanted was his questions answered, as no politicians are willing to discuss these issues.

Bill Maloney invited to speak at (United for Justice) Remembrance Event

Maverick South East London Filmmaker invited to speak at 'Remembrance' event.

Award winning maverick South East London film director Bill Maloney has first hand experience of Institutional child abuse. As such he has turned away from a promising 'fiction' filmmaking career to use his skills to expose the culture of concealment that exists in the UK's corridors of power. Fighting for the protection of children, he returns into the affray that decimated his whole family.

Cockney speaking Irishman Maloney is part of a growing public movement to seek truth and justice for national stories such as:

  • The death of Ian Tomlinson at the G20 protests;
  • The growing number of children being taken away from parents in secret family courts;
  • The child abuse/murder allegations at Haut de la Garenne on the Channel Island of Jersey
  • Abuse of young offenders
  • The case of Hollie Greig

... to name but a few.

Due to Maloney's 'championing' for victims of Institutional child abuse and for victims of abuse and death in custody, he has been invited by 4wardEverUK as a main speaker at the 'Remembrance... (United 4 Justice)' Event in Leicester 15 May 2010.

Fellow main speakers include:

  • Deborah Coles  - INQUEST
  • Bishop Jonathan Clive Blake - When No-One's Watching

The majority of the public would rise up and challenge our Government against the culture of concealment that is evident in today's corridors of power if only they were aware of the real implications on their own lives. Human nature shows that the majority of compliant citizens only rise up and challenge issues when they have been directly adversely affected in some way.

Maloney's goal is to target the normal man/woman on the street by engaging then in real scenarios and letting them know that injustices could happen to them and their loved ones.

Death of Ian Tomlinson - Bill Maloney Reports

Bill Maloney and his courageous camera woman Lilly Starr join the grieving family of Ian Tomlinson to pay their respects on the anniversary of his death. Ian Tomlinson was innocently making his way home from work through the G20 protests in London on 1 April 2009. Videos and CCTV footage showed an unprovoked assault on Mr Tomlinson by a police officer striking him from behind with a baton then proceeding to thrust him, also from behind pushing him with force to the ground. The police made no attempt to help Mr Tomlinson. He died shortly afterwards on the pavement in the street. Bill Maloney exposes the fear that Ian's family have of speaking out against the Establishment, this is corroborated by Ian Tomlinson's son 'Paul' in this video.
Interviews are held with supporters: Anna Bragga (The Green Party), Raj Ullah (Brother of vicitm Habib 'Paps' Ullah) and Paul King, Son of Ian Tomlinson bringing this tragic story up to date.

VIEW THE VIDEO REPORT: Death of Ian Tomlinson 1 year on - Bill Maloney Reports

Anniversary of Ian Tomlinson's death at G20 protests London

Pie 'n' Mash Films are showing support for the family of Ian Tomlinson to commemorate his death. We are attending the laying of flowers today at the spot where Ian was brutally pushed to his death by a police officer at the G20 protests, London 1 April 2009. A video report will be available soon.

It has now been one year since the tragic death of Ian Tomlinson during the G20 protests in the City of London on 1 April. While we appreciate a fair and thorough investigation takes time, Ian's grieving family has been left in limbo for a year waiting for a full explanation about the circumstances of his death. There is now very real concern as to whether the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) proposes to charge anyone in respect of the assault and death of Ian.

The CPS has been in possession of the provisional Independent Police Complaints Commission investigation findings since August 2009. We understand that these findings, at least in part, will provide the basis for a decision on whether to prosecute anyone for Ian's death. We also note that the director of public prosecutions said in a Guardian interview (21 September 2009) that he hoped the CPS would reach a decision "within a few months".

Delays in the investigation and charging decisions increase the suffering for families of victims leaving them unable to gain closure and move on with their lives. Families are greatly concerned not to prejudice the process and are therefore effectively silenced from expressing their views publicly about the death of their loved one. They are desperate to ensure any potential future legal proceedings are not undermined nor an excuse found to abandon any cases that might be brought. The Tomlinson family has endured a year of public scrutiny unable to respond to questions about Ian's death, with little they can do but wait for the outcome of a decision. The delay however is now intolerable.

The policing of the G20 protest caused widespread public concern around use of excessive force by police officers. Proceedings against many protestors arrested on the day, as well as a number of reviews and investigations into the events of the day, have all been concluded. In the case of Ian Tomlinson, there is a heightened need for the statutory investigating body to be seen to be carrying out justice in a robust, transparent and timely manner to address public confidence. One year later the public, like the Tomlinson family, are still left with unanswered questions about how and why Ian died at the G20.

In the absence of any updates from the CPS, we have growing concerns about the investigation into Ian's death. There has been a complete lack of communication and transparency about the delay into concluding the investigation into Ian's death that calls the CPS's credibility into question.

As we have already set out, we do not wish to prejudice any investigation or potential proceedings but believe that either a decision or public explanation is due. We call on the CPS to fulfill its public duty regarding the investigation into the death of Ian Tomlinson.

Secret Family Courts

Comment posted on The Times article

'Family court reforms face opposition from judges and childrens' groups': http://business.timesonline.co.uk/tol/business/law/article7036939.ece

I was brought up in the care of Lambeth and Southwark Councils, as were my seven siblings. It was closed courts and dealings between middle-class lawyers and social workers that decided the fate of my family, who were from the lower working class culture.

I am now a 54 yr old multi award winning documentary filmmaker specialising in institutional child abuse. I would like to say to you all that taking babies away from their Mother at birth destroys lives for decades. To truly understand the working class culture you have to have been born and educated within it. The ‘professionals’ are mistaking passion for aggression. 90% of all children taken into care are from the lower working class culture.

This morning I was at the Inner London Family Proceedings Court investigating a case where a baby was taken from it’s Mother and Father five hours after giving birth. The baby was returned to the parents for a few weeks. The parents had learning difficulties and could not manage the bureaucracy of their benefits. To put it in a nutshell, the baby was taken away because the Mother or Father could not fill in the forms, or were late for meetings etc.

Recently there is a health problem with the child, which has not been investigated. The parents are distraught. Foster carers are receiving £390 per week to look after the baby. The parents were given just £69 per week when the child was in their care.

Open up the courts - Free the children - God Bless all victims and survivors.

The tragic story of Hollie Greig

"We've ALL got to shout about this horrific story and the outrageous abuse of justice."

Legal aide to Hollie’s family in abuse claim appears in court

man accused of breaching the peace

Published: 16/02/2010

THE legal adviser to the family of a disabled woman who claims she was abused by a paedophile ring as a child has appeared in court charged with breach of the peace.

Robert Green, 63, appeared from custody at Stonehaven Sheriff Court yesterday accused of an offence spanning eight months.

The political hopeful represents the mother of Hollie Greig, a 30-year-old woman with Down’s Syndrome.

Hollie claims she was sexually assaulted by a Scottish sheriff, who is still serving, and a senior Grampian Police officer who is now dead.

Green is alleged to have committed a breach of the peace between June 9, 2009, and February 12 this year in the Ferryhill, Bridge of Don, Bieldside and Woodside areas of Aberdeen.

A handful of Green’s supporters gathered at the court for yesterday’s hearing, while a few more arrived at Aberdeen Sheriff Court expecting him to appear there.

Green, of 4 Birchdale Road, Warrington, Cheshire, appeared in private on petition before Sheriff James Hendry.

He made no plea and was released on bail.

He was represented during the brief hearing by Stonehaven solicitor Denis Daun.

Green was arrested on Friday as he made his way to the centre of Aberdeen to hand out leaflets.

He is understood to have been heading for Union Street to tell people about Hollie’s case and his plans to contest the Aberdeen South parliamentary seat as an independent candidate.

Green had been staying at a bed and breakfast in King Street.

The B&B was searched by police following the arrest.

Hollie claims she was abused for 14 years from the age of six and has given the police the names of some of the men she alleges assaulted her.

campaign

The 30-year-old and her mother, Anne, have been campaigning for criminal proceedings since 2000.

The abuse is alleged to have taken place in Aberdeen, and Hollie and her mother claim to have made a statement at Bucksburn police station in July that year naming those involved.

The family moved to Shropshire and two Grampian Police officers travelled to Shrewsbury in September last year to re-interview Hollie at a special facility.

Last month, the Crown Office said there was not enough reliable evidence to proceed with the case.

Newcross - 13 Dead, Nothing Said - Campaign

At Pie 'n' Mash Films we have a motto: 'Black & White Unite'.

Recently we have been watching members of parliament spending 48 hours living on Council Estates ('Tower-block of Commons' - channel 4). The programme shows clearly how out of touch our politicians are with working class people. One thing they all agreed on was that they could not survive on the jobseeker's allowance.

I was brought up in Brixton, Peckham and Lewisham, I am of Irish descent (a cockney-speaking Irishman if you like). For me, one of the worst things was to see children fight children because of creed and colour. Many Irish people left their beloved Country while it was brutalised by different political fractions: The British Empire/Government played a major part in this.

As the British Empire reforms itself into the New World Order, indigenous populations continue to bear the brunt of corrupt so-called leaders. While black and white fight each other our eyes are taken from those at the top. If WE all stop fighting each other the real criminals would begin to stick out like sore thumbs.

The New Cross fire victims are very rarely talked about. When I was at school racism was encouraged by many adults to their children. Many of those children (now adults) preach the same views to their own. I would like to see a full investigation, involving the public, into the outrageous New Cross fire deaths.

The victims and their families have the right to some kind of disclosure; I completely understand why the black population still feel they are suffering from this horrific event that happened in New Cross (my own manor).

I shared the grief with my many black and white (integrated) brothers and sisters. It has always niggled at me, not only what, or who started the fire but why they were protected by the Establishment?

When we were children we were powerless, now many of us have gone on to become professionals, while continuing to live amongst the many mixed cultures that we grew up in. As a documentary filmmaker I am prepared to offer forward my acquired skills in an attempt to show the true story. I offer this in respect of the victims, their families and all ‘good’ people who struggle to maintain their sanity while watching ‘out of touch’ world leaders and their entourages continue to pit different cultures against each other, thus weakening our attempts at building a peace-loving and empathetic world.

So who else out there, who has the skills (be they financial, legal, marketing etc) will join me? As a white man who grew up and continues to live amongst the love, creativity and comradery of black people – who else will join me? Talk is cheap, let’s do it!

“BLACK AND WHITE UNITE”

Independent Police Custody Monitors fear service to be axed

A service helping prevent deaths and inhumane treatment of people held in police custody in Lambeth is under threat, according to its chair.

Cuts to the Independent Custody Visit (ICV) service across London were made by the Metropolitan Police Authority (MPA) this month.

The volunteers – who make random visits to custody suites in the borough’s three main police stations at Streatham, Brixton and Kennington – can now only report its findings to the MPA four times a year.

Lambeth’s ICV panel chair, Jane Warwick, said the move will “neuter” the service’s effectiveness and is the latest in a string of attempts by the MPA to weaken and eventually remove the independent service.

Previously it was able to pass on its findings to the MPA – responsible for maintaining conditions in police cells and custody suites – monthly.  READ FULL ARTICLE: http://www.yourlocalguardian.co.uk/news/local/streathamnews/4841841.Police_custody_monitors_fear_service_will_be_axed/

BILL MALONEY'S RESPONSE:

It is imperative that the Independent Custody Visit service (ICV) has complete freedom to do an essential job. Any institution or organisation, which incorporates violence into its agenda, be it restraining techniques or solitary confinement (which is violent to a detainees psychological makeup) should be independently monitored. Many of these institutions are literally getting away with murder. The reason these institutions don’t like to deal through the criminal courts is because there are so many cases it would severely affect the courts timetables - and more importantly to them, their self-inflated integrity.

Let’s do away with the ‘mask of respectability’ that they hide behind. The police essentially have to be aggressive in their nature as the two biggest frighteners to the average person would be violence and incarceration. There are many young offenders whom, at their point of arrest, would have been let off, had they not been ‘cheeky’ to the police, this is evident in many of the police documentaries we see on our television screens.  I watched a police officer in one these documentaries say to a kid “If you hadn’t have been so cheeky to me you wouldn’t be going to court!” Are we really allowing police officers to send young offenders into the jaws of the Young Offenders Institutions because of their inflated egos?  Will we all be sending our children into danger because they ‘cheek’ us? As a parent I would say absolutely not. Would we as parents use the nose distraction technique against our children? (Which is basically a punch to the nose) If we did we would be sent to prison, and rightly so. Restraining techniques within our YOIs and child-care homes are commonplace every day. Children are regularly taken to hospital with injuries caused by these restraining techniques.  The Police Force and Army have a higher ratio of drink and drug abuse, divorce and domestic violence than any other professions. Many ex-soldiers with psychological dysfunctions are being used as guards to take care of our children. Our prison population has 20,000 ex-military personnel serving prison sentences.

The ICV is an absolute requirement in any correctly run democratic nation and its ethos should be practised and strengthened in all cases of detainment whether they be babies, children or adults.

In the documentary films that we make we persistently ask for a ‘social’ police force and not a ‘paramilitary regime’ that would appear to be a wall around the powerful elite.

'Cockney- Irish' director wins Waterford award

‘Billy & Lilly Go To New York' has been awarded Runner up Best Feature at the Waterford Film Festival 2009. By Shelley Marsden - 19/11/09

'Cockney- Irish' director wins Waterford award

The film is about a British filmmaker whose outspoken condemnatory aggressive style got him and his courageous camerawoman Lilly Starr shot to death on the streets of New York. Screened to a full house, the audience reaction was amazing.

In 2008, whilst receiving an award for his first feature film 'Lunatic' at a prestigious NY Film Festival, film director Bill Maloney decided, because of his gritty working class roots, to bypass the festival glitz, in favour of shooting a documentary about the under privileged and homeless people of New York and Harlem - and the effects of the US health system in comparison to that of the homeless on the streets of London, illustrating the dangers of losing the UK National Health Service and the loss of civil liberties.

'Billy & Lilly Go To New York' is a drama documentary filmed in London and New York. A film depicting the story of a passionate British filmmaker whose condemnatory, outspoken, aggressive style got him and his courageous young camerawoman Lilly Starr shot to death on the streets of New York.

A gun was pulled on Billy on the streets of Harlem but Billy and Lilly stood their ground, they held their nerve ignoring the terrifying threat; Maloney quoted: “There goes a sick man and an angry man!”

He went on, “I’m not threatened by my own people; I was brought up in Brixton, Peckham and Lewisham”. But it wasn’t the gun of the ‘angry man’ that took the life of these filmmakers.

‘Billy & Lilly To New York’ screened its World Premier to a full house at the Waterford Film Festival 2009. View Trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AeS5fV-ygt0&feature=channel_page.

The Maloney Family scrimped, saved and turned down a £1.4 million budget from a Soho production company who wanted artistic control on their first feature. They progressed by re-mortgaging their ex-council flat to help create their film company Pie ‘n’ Mash Films. Regrettably, due to the recession, the collapse of their film distributors and the major DVD outlets they were left with nothing.  Inspirationally, their motto is ‘Keep on punching’.

Waterford Film Festival approaches...

The Waterford Film Festival

The third annual Waterford Film Festival will take place from Friday, November 6th, to Sunday, November 8th, in the Greyfrairs Art Gallery Waterford. Festival organisers have reported a scaling down of the festival as a result of reduced funding but still received hundreds of submissions from across the globe.

The festival programme will include the screening of eight feature films and documentaries and 30 short films from filmmakers from around the world. Dublin-born filmmaker Joseph Delond’s independent film will launch proceedings on Friday, November 6th. The film, entitled ‘Bitterness’, is Delond’s debut feature film and is a story of a man who is jilted at the altar thus which leads to a new bitterness in him which is intensified by the happy lives of his friends.

British feature fiction film ‘Billy & Lilly Go to New York’ will enjoy its world première at the festival. The film is made by director Bill Maloney (Lunatic). The dockumentary sees Bill playing himself (a cockney –speaking Irishman) who goes to New York to represent his nominated feature film at a NY Film Festival. He decides to bypass the festival glitz in favour of shooting a documentary about the homeless people of NY which leads to a tragic close.

Feature documentaries that will screen at the festival includes ‘Clown around Lesotho!’, a film made by Irish filmmaker Mike Casey (Des Bishop: Joy in the Hood) about a troupe of Irish clowns who travel to Lesotho, one the poorest countries in the world. Another documentary being screened comes from debut feature documentary filmmakers Cian O ‘Laoi and Oliver Knowles. The documentary is called ‘Pipe Down’ and it documents Shell Oil’s plans of laying down gas pipes off the Mayo Coast, an action which threatens to endanger the environment and the lives of local farmers and fishermen. Also screening is ‘Obama's Irish Roots’ directed by Gabriel Murray (The Lost World of the Crystal Skull). This Docudrama tells the story of President Obama's Irish roots which can be traced back as far as Brian Boru.

Closing this year festival is a low budget independent American/Irish production called ‘Manband’, which was shot on location in Los Angeles California by debut director Dermott Petty. ‘Manband’ is a comedy film about two music promoters hoping to find the next big thing in pop music who end up creating a boyband made up of middle aged men.

This year’s festival sees a new event - a short screenplay competition for which organisers received over one hundred submissions which have since been narrowed down to twenty finalists. The overall winner of the competition will be announced on the last day of the festival as will the winners in the categories of Best Feature Film, Best Feature Documentary and Best Short Film. 1st and 2nd place certificates will be awarded in each category and a cash prize of €600 will be awarded for 1st place in the short film and the short screenplay category.

Festival Director, Stephen Byrne, tells IFTN "All of us here at the Waterford Film Festival are excited about this year's programme. Filmmakers and Screenplay writers from across Ireland, U.K. and several European Countries are travelling to the festival. We are delighted by the response by filmmakers and the quality of work that has been submitted to us. We will be screening films that come from different backgrounds, from debut filmmakers to award winners. We found all these films to be entertaining in different ways and there is a subject to suit everyone's taste."

The New Supreme Court is protecting paedophiles.

The New Supreme Court (formerly the House of Lords) are preventing the proposed vetting procedure which could include an enhanced CRB check, if individuals have frequent or unsupervised contact with a child.

ALL INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE FREQUENT OR UNSUPERVISED CONTACT WITH A CHILD SHOULD BE CRB CHECKED - It looks as if Jack Straw and his colleagues in the New Supreme Court are doing everything in their power in favour of predatory paedophiles .....

The following article appeared in The Daily Mail today -

New vetting checks designed to protect children have gone 'too far', judges rule

By James Slack, Home Affairs Editor
Last updated at 9:41 PM on 29th October 2009

Lord Neuberger

Overhaul: Lord Neuberger says criminal checks designed to protect children have gone 'too far'

Criminal record checks have gone 'too far' and must be tilted back towards those wanting to work with children, the new Supreme Court ruled yesterday.

In a victory for campaigners fighting the rise of the Big Brother state, the Justices ordered an overhaul of enhanced criminal records bureau checks against anybody seeking a job with a vulnerable adult or child.

In particular, the presumption in favour of disclosing 'soft intelligence' against an applicant came under attack.

Each year, around 20,000 people have details of this type of information disclosed to potential employers, in many cases scuppering their hopes of gaining a job.

But Lord Neuberger said soft intelligence may constitute nothing more than 'allegations of matters which are disputed by the applicant, or even mere suspicion or hints of matters which are disputed by the applicant'.

In future, where there are doubts about the information, Chief Constables should allow the individual affected to make representations before the information is released to employers, the court ruled.

Police must also show much greater consideration for the private lives of job applicants.

The ruling follows widespread alarm about the new Independent Safeguarding Authority, which will vet all 11million adults who wish to work with children or the elderly.

This vetting procedure could include an enhanced CRB check, if they have frequent or unsupervised contact with the child.

Lord Neuberger said: 'The widespread concern about the compulsory registration rules for all those having regular contact with children demonstrates that there is a real risk that, unless child protection procedures are proportionate and contain adequate safeguards, they will not merely fall foul of the Convention, but they will redound to the disadvantage of the very group they are designed to shield, and will undermine public confidence in the laudable exercise of protecting the vulnerable.'

Lord Hope said that, in many cases, disclosing details about an applicants private life 'goes further than is reasonably necessary for the legitimate object of protecting children and adults'.

The same information will be released to a succession of employers, in what Lord Hope described as a 'rigid, mechanistic system that pays too little attention to the effects of disclosure on the applicant.

More than 200,000 enhanced CRB checks on each of the last two years, around ten per cent of which included 'soft intelligence'. The judge said this is a cause of 'very real public concern'.

Lord Hope said past rulings had 'tilted the balance of the system' against the applicant's right to privacy.

He added: 'It should no longer be assumed that the presumption is for disclosure unless there is a good reason for not doing so'.

Last night, the civil liberties group Liberty welcomed the ruling.

Legal officer Anna Fairclough said: 'The Supreme Court has thankfully brought some wisdom and balance to the current frenzy around employment vetting.

'At a time when more people than ever before have been made subject to CRB checks, and the police seek to hold information forever, this judgment strikes a welcome note of caution and fairness.

'Our children are better protected by a rational and balanced scheme than by one that disclosed gossip and rumour without safeguards.'

The judgment originated from the case of a woman who was prevented from gaining a job as a school playground assistant, when 'soft intelligence' about her teenage son was disclosed to her would-be employer.

In the woman's case, the judges decided disclosure had been fair, but that it had raised wider issues.

Stuart Syvret seeks Asylum in London.

Senator from Jersey accused of leaking police report wants asylum after fleeing trial

A leading Jersey politician accused of leaking a police report is claiming asylum at the House of Commons because he believes he will not be given a fair trial on the island.

Senator Stuart Syvret, a former Jersey health and social security minister described by supporters as a ‘voice of the people’, fled to London shortly before he was due at a court hearing on Wednesday.

He has moved into the home of Liberal Democrat MP John Hemming, who is backing the senator’s case for ‘legal asylum’.

Mr Syvret with Lord Wallace and Mr Heming

Support: Mr Syvret, right, with Lord Wallace, left, and Mr Heming who has given the senator a place to stay

As a Channel Islands citizen, Mr Syvret has an automatic right to live in Britain, but the senator will tomorrow ask the British Government for ‘protection from harassment’ from the Jersey authorities.

He was arrested and charged in April for data-protection offences after he made public a police report into an aborted investigation into the conduct of a male nurse on the island.

On Friday, Jersey magistrates made an order for Mr Syvret’s arrest when he failed to turn up to two court hearings.

But Mr Hemming, MP for Birmingham Yardley, along with Labour MP Austin Mitchell and Lib Dem peer Lord Wallace of Saltaire, are supporting the senator’s application for protection from the Jersey judiciary.

They say the British Government should intervene because Jersey is a Crown dependency and Britain has a responsibility for its good governance.

Mr Syvret was the ‘whistleblower’ who previously claimed island officials covered up child abuse at Jersey’s Haut de la Garenne children’s home.

Arrests and charges were made. But when Mr Syvret called for an independent inquiry into the handling of that case, he was accused of damaging Jersey’s reputation and dismissed as health minister.

Mr Hemming said: ‘He is staying in my London flat as my guest and they can arrest him over my dead body. He is a brave and principled politician.

‘Jack Straw must act. The Jersey establishment care more about covering up their failures than protecting patients. Stuart has revealed a botched investigation into a major crime, but the authorities are prosecuting him rather than investigating the allegations about the nurse.

‘It is quite clear that the judicial processes in Jersey are skewed against Stuart. We should not allow him to be extradited, to be prosecuted in a kangaroo court.’

In March this year Mr Syvret, Jersey’s longest-serving senator, published details of a police investigation into a registered nurse in what he described as an effort to challenge ‘the Jersey way of constant cover-ups, a toxic culture of concealment’.

He claimed police feared the nurse was obsessed with death and that further investigation was needed, but that officers had been obstructed from interviewing witnesses by the island’s health services and senior officials.

The nurse has previous convictions and was sacked from his post after having sex with a seriously ill patient.

He was also arrested after a girlfriend claimed he had gone to her home and hidden stolen hospital drugs, for which he was convicted.

Police reports confirm that detectives found drugs at her house.

Background checks revealed further grave concerns, including complaints by relatives who claimed they had discovered him turning up morphine doses and a senior nurse who found that he had blocked a heart patient’s life-saving drip with a bung.

Following Mr Syvret’s publication of details of the investigation, Jersey police asked the Metropolitan Police to review its handling of the case.

A report by former Detective Chief Inspector Keith Eldridge of the Met’s Specialist Crime Directorate, which reviews unsolved homicides, confirmed that the nurse was ‘potentially a danger to women’ and prone to ‘predatory and violent sexual behaviour’.

He recommended that Jersey police ‘carry out an up-to-date risk assessment with a view to prevention of offences against vulnerable members of the Jersey community’.

However, he added that there were ‘no grounds to invite the Crown to review its position as there is no new evidence’.

Despite the report, Mr Syvret, 44, is still facing the possibility of a jail sentence should he be found guilty of breaching the Data Protection Act.

But he claims he fled Jersey only after he was advised that he may be barred from mounting a public-interest defence in court.

Mr Syvret said: ‘My home was raided in April by ten police officers, my parliamentary email account downloaded and I have even been billed thousands of pounds in court costs. I haven’t even been allowed legal aid so I have had to represent myself.

‘It has been a travesty of justice. During the past three months I have made around 50 different applications before the judge – relating to disclosures of evidence and the calling of witnesses – and every single one has been rejected.’

Mr Syvret intends to give himself up to police at the House of Commons tomorrow and then go through the unprecedented process of claiming the right to a fair trial on the mainland.

Lord Wallace claimed the Jersey government was attempting to silence its critics. He added: ‘Senator Syvret is a leading member of the States of Jersey. As an elected representative, it is his job to investigate the quality of public administration in Jersey and to respond to what those who voted for him have told him about past administrative actions.’

Sex abuse prison officer/church minister released from prison

NEVILLE HUSBAND, a former senior Prison Officer at Medomsley Detention Centre and former Church Minister who systematically sexually abused his victims at Medomsley Detention Centre from 1974 to 1984.

Neville Husband is being released from prison tomorrow (9th Oct '09). Of the 22 victims only a small minority have had their claims against the Home Office heard in court.  The victims formed themselves into a support/campaign group justice4survivors. Pie ‘n’ Mash  Films are working on a documentary containing interviews with the victims of Medomsley Detention Centre (Now Hassockfield Secure Training Centre)

We are an independent film company working with the victims. Film director Bill Maloney, himself a former victim of institutional abuse, was approached by justice4survivors to tell their stories because they trusted him to allow them to tell the truth.

Director Bill Maloney is also available for interview Tel: 07710 416470

Neville Husband's victims are now scattered across the country: Newcastle/York/Wales/South Coast. Husband had the potential to abuse young offender victims for a total period of 27 years and Justice4survivors urge other victims to have the courage to come forward. If we can't find justice for the victims of historic institutional child abuse how are we to protect and move forward with the growing number of abuse cases we are currently experiencing.

Further corruption in Jersey

ONE of Jersey’s biggest banks is reported to be under investigation by UK tax authorities following an undercover inquiry.

A journalist from the BBC’s current affairs programme, Panorama, went into Lloyds TSB Offshore in St Helier posing as a customer wanting to deposit millions of pounds.

It is believed that the programme, to be screened tonight at 8.30 pm on BBC One, will show that their reporter, who said he did not want to pay UK tax, was told to invest the cash in such a way as to dodge the UK taxman.  See full article: http://www.thisisjersey.com/2009/09/21/jersey-bank-to-be-probed-by-uk-tax-authorities/

So the UK government gets involved with Jersey when they're losing taxes but not when they are losing children!

Also in today's Jersey Evening Post:

Haut de la Garenne dig was ‘waste of time’

Det Supt Mick Gradwell.

Det Supt Mick Gradwell.

THE excavation of Haut de la Garenne was a complete waste of public money, time and effort, the senior police officer who led the historical abuse inquiry for the past year has said.

Det Supt Mick Gradwell, who left the Island yesterday when his contract ended, told the JEP that there was no justification for the police excavating at Haut de la Garenne as part of the abuse inquiry.

Mr Gradwell said that there had been no hard evidence or intelligence indicating that such a search should take place.

Until that decision was made, the inquiry, led by his predecessor, deputy police chief Lenny Harper, had been run more along UK policy lines, he said.

Mr Gradwell said that once the excavation was begun, things started to go wrong and he was left with a ‘poorly managed mess’ to sort out.

WHAT A LOAD OF BOLLOCKS! GOOD RIDDANCE.

anti-paedophile vetting scheme

Moves to vet every adult who works with children are set to be watered down after the Government ordered a last-minute review of the controversial anti-paedophile scheme.

Ed Balls, the Children's Secretary, acted amid fury that the criminal record checks would affect parents who give lifts to children on behalf of sports teams or voluntary organisations such as the Scouts. The move comes after The Independent revealed that prominent children's authors, including Philip Pullman and Anthony Horowitz, have threatened to stop visiting schools rather than subject themselves to the "insulting" requirement.  See the full article: http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/ministers-retreat-on-child-database-1787322.html (please copy and paste in your url if link doesn't work!)

Bill Maloney's response:

I can’t see the problem with vetting all people that have contact with children who are not their own - in a professional, semi-professional, voluntary or temporary capacity. National statistics tell us that one in every four of us have paedophilic tendencies. So these excuses for denying children their statutory human right of protection in these areas are verging on outrageous. What is becoming of our society and what do we expect in the future from all the victims who, in the majority, move on in to completely socially dysfunctional lives?

Jack Straw’s brother was on the sex offenders register for assaulting a 16 year old girl who was a family friend. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/this-britain/jack-straws-brother-found-guilty-of-indecent-assault-on-girl-16-698881.html  If we can’t trust our Minister of Justice’ Brother who can we trust? Vet them all.  And while we’re at it, what about a sex offenders register for our MPs?  There’s over 600 of them.

Taking young babies from bad parents at birth

PRESS RELEASE                                                                                            8 SEPTEMBER 2009

“GOVERNMENT FUNDED CHILD ABUSE”

Chief Executive of Dr Barnardos, Martin Narey, employed Neville Husband: Prison officer and notorious child sex offender from Medomsley YOI.

The national press is awash with the disturbing comments from Martin Narey, Chief Executive of Dr Barnardos. He stated: “Take more babies away from bad parents at birth”

Last year Dr Barnardos income topped £215 million. They are responsible for the care of approx 100,000 children. This equates to an income of £215,000 per child per year.

Martin Narey was Governor at both Frankland maximum-security prison and Deerbolt Borstal for young offenders (both in Co Durham), when a known paedophile ‘Neville Husband’ was employed as a senior officer at Frankland and seconded as an officer at Deerbolt. Husband had been forced to leave Medomsley Detention Centre for young offenders after torturing and abusing boys. He was subsequently convicted and is currently serving a ten-year jail sentence. Prior to his conviction Husband was also a Church Minister for the United Reformed Church.  Many of the victims have not received justice yet and Husband is due to be released from prison next month.

Cravings for young boys
Statements given to police by prison officers who worked with Husband suggest suspicions were rife about his cravings for young boys, who he went on to molest in the kitchens he ran.
One statement by an officer who served at Medomsley in 1978, reads: "I don't know why but all the governors thought very highly of Husband and seemed to look after him.”

As a Prison Governor, Martin Narey either ignored or was grossly negligent by failing to observe Husband’s employment records: That he was arrested in 1967 whilst at Portland young offenders centre for the illegal importation of homosexual pornography.  That the case was silenced and Husband was moved to Medomsley Detention Centre where he continued to import pornography direct into the Centre. That he was investigated by the police on numerous occasions but without further actions. That Husband then embarked on his horrific sexual torture of countless young boys. These boys are now men and want their story told.

Victims want their stories told
The victims of Neville Husband formed themselves into a group: justice4survivors. They recently approached award winning working class film director Bill Maloney (who has himself stepped forward as a victim of abuse whilst in YOIs and Borstals back in the 1970s – his whole family were abused in care).  Maloney was horrified but not surprised by their stories of abuse and injustice as the hands of the UK Establishment. He decided to work with them to make a hard-hitting gritty documentary ‘Adam Rickwood & The Medomsley Heroes’ without any funding.  He stated, “We’re going to let these brave men tell their stories without sanitizing the documentary for the middle-class driven media”. The victims are currently pushing for a public enquiry.

Adam brings the horrors up to date
Whilst researching Medomsley detention centre (now Hassockfield Secure Training Centre) Maloney discovered that as recently as 2004 Adam Rickwood (14), became the youngest prisoner to commit suicide in the UK. Adam’s family and friends all believe that Adam did not kill himself and that there has been a massive cover-up; this is truthfully and emotionally displayed in the documentary. Adam was found hanging in his cell with a broken nose, broken wrist and covered in bruises.

99.9 per cent of young offenders in the UK stem from the lower working classes. As Bill Maloney states in his documentary “You can’t keep bashing our kids like this, we’re not going to allow it any more”.

Now Martin Narey wants to rip lower working class baby’s from their mothers at birth. The effects on Mothers and Fathers and their families for the loss of their babies will be devastating. The huge funds invested into Dr Barnardos each year should be put to helping these young parents, it is immoral to suggest taking these young children into care when the care system continues to abuse them and profit from them.  Successful and trusted families from within these peoples’ own culture and communities should be funded to adopt a support role to help ‘bad parents’ by befriending them, gaining their trust and encouraging and motivating them forward, they would also be better placed than an overworked inexperienced graduate social worker to recognise whether a child is in danger or neglected. Further funding should also be supplied to support the education, environment and welfare of the family.

Apparently, Philippa Stroud of the thinktank Centre for Social Justice reacted cautiously to Narey's comments. “What we recommend is the model of the mother and baby going into care, filling that hole and giving the whole family a chance. "With child protection, all the legislation is actually in place: it's the implementation that is the issue." – Even this recommendation would require huge bureaucratic funding. The money needs to be spent at source - at the home and within the family with trusted support and guidance.

Maloney’s outspoken and unsanitised documentaries appear to be too controversial for major broadcast networks, but the public need to know what is happening to their taxes when private security companies such as Serco are looking after our children and receiving approx £178,000 per year per child.

And Dr Barnardos? A charity that has the Queen as it’s Patron and which the majority of the population appear to respect and believe in, acquires its funding of £215,000 per child per year through, government funded fees and grants, property development, donations/gifts and fundraising, and trading.

How is this right?
Unemployed parents receiving statutory benefits receive on average an additional £3,744 per year towards the care of one child (calculating child tax credits together with Child benefit). Plus one off payments in the child’s first year totaling approx £440. Dr Barnardos receive £215,000 per year per child.

Through Vicarious Liability Martin Narey has contributed to the destruction of vulnerable children’s lives through his negligence. He should not be telling us that our children should be abducted at birth.

The trailer for Maloney’s documentary ‘Adam Rickwood & The Medomsley Heroes’ is now available for viewing at: http://www.pienmashfilms.com    or http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D34cshT2vto&feature=channel_page

Do you have a story about your treatment in a Young Offender Institution?

Bill Maloney is currently working on a documentary 'The Story of **** ******** & The 22 Crew'.

It's tragic the way our 'civilised' society treats children in care. We're currently investigating the brutal techniques used in Young Offenders Institutions and Childcare homes. Check out: http://justice4survivors.org,

Bill Maloney and Pie ‘n’ Mash Films have been working on a documentary with 22 guys who were all sexually abused back in the 70s who are now in the process of taking the Home Office to court. We also found out that the youngest child in custody **** ******** (14) committed suicide at the same detention centre only four years ago. Check out: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/lancashire/6709135.stm  We have interviews with ****'s family who do not believe he committed suicide and with four of the guys who were abused back in the 70s at the same centre. Ligatures and torture techniques were used!

If you have any information regarding abuse within UK child care institutions please email us and we will get back to you.

Please feel free to push our information out to any links/forums you think relevant.

If we all pull together we CAN make a difference.

Kind regards

WHY and HOW did Dyana die?

Dyana Maloney’s Death
Timeline of events constructed by her
Brother Bill Maloney (July 2009)

Dyana Maloney with her partner Tommy

2001 - 2006

4 Sept 2001 – Dyana Maloney commenced legal proceedings against Southwark/Lambeth Councils for child sex abuse whilst in their care. She initially instructed High street Solicitor ‘David Thomas’ of David Thomas & Co to represent her. Her statement was connected with ‘The Chile Investigation’; although they held the case for five years it proved too big for David Thomas & Co, who failed to advise her effectively.

2006

19 Oct    - Dyana instructed new solicitor ‘Frances Swaine’ of ‘Leigh Day & Co’ to take over the case.

2008

31 Mar – TAKEN FROM DYANA’S DIARY:

(Watched that thing last night about Jersey)

The fear and fright wore on
The child became a woman
Who forty years on
still needs the light on

When all around is quiet and at peace as dust falls
She drowns her inner whimpers and calls

The 11 year old child who finds comfort in beer
Erased for a wink, the terror, the fear.

1 Apr    - Bill Maloney (Brother of Dyana), with his assistant Laura Dudman travel to Jersey to construct a documentary on the child sex abuse allegations at children’s home ‘Haut de la Garenne’ for Pie ‘n’ Mash Films. Dyana had informed Bill that she and her twin brother and younger sister had been taken there on a sailing holiday when in care in the 60’s and that she remembers being sexually abused whilst there. She was proud of her brother’s investigation and helped with the funding of the documentary but at this stage she didn’t want it to affect her current legal case. She told her brother to be careful.

4 Apr    - Darren Baba the third member of Bill’s team arrived on the Island and was booked into separate accommodation to Bill and Laura. This was for the sake of security as Darren was to hold all documentary footage and make sure it returned safely to Pie ‘n’ Mash Films if any complications were to arise.

- Bill and the team are concerned as to their safety after interviewing on the streets of St Helier and being observed and followed by suspicious individuals that they believed to be part of the Jersey Establishment. Laura took to wedging a matchstick between the closed door and it’s frame to Bill’s bedroom when they were out.  On three occasions the matchstick had been knocked down meaning someone had entered the apartment. They asked the owner if he or anyone else had entered the property in their absence, he stated that he had not, nor anyone else. Bill also noticed that his driving license had gone missing. Maria contacted the car hire company to see if he had left it with them when receiving the previously arranged hire car. They confirmed that they did not have his driving license.
Maria Maloney contacted the Channel4 News team with their security concerns and to possible complications when Bill and the team leave Jersey. Maria spoke to Jane Kinney at ITN who told her to keep her direct contact details and if anything untoward should happen then she could contact her directly.

8 Apr    - Bill and team leave Jersey. At the airport Bill was asked by security to take his camcorder out of it’s bag and turn it on to show that it was a working camera. No other part of his person was searched. Laura was also searched; Darren was not.

13 Apr    - Pie ‘n’ Mash Films commence researching statistics and editing Jersey documentary entitled: Sun, Sea & Satan.

29 Apr    - Dyana was informed by her solicitors ‘Leigh Day & Co’ that after almost seven years her case had collapsed.  They quoted:

‘In summary, Counsel concludes that:
•    In respect of some of the incidents there is no reasonable prospect of establishing that Lambeth/Southwark are liable as employers (vicarious liability)
•    Where vicarious liability is potentially established, Counsel concludes that, in any event, our claim is likely to be time-barred and you have a less than 51-55% chance of persuading the Court to hear your claims against Southwark & Lambeth outside the usual time limit
•    That any claim against your previous solicitors is not worth pursuing due to the low value of it, and therefore you would be very unlikely to obtain legal aid.

This was the Counsel’s conclusion even though Dyana’s twin brother had previously had a successful claim. Dyana was devastated.

19 May- Copies of Documentary ‘Sun, Sea & Satan’ were sent to: Simon Read at BBC Plymouth; Donna Taberer at BSkyB News; Jane Kinney at ITN News at Channel4; Alana Bailey at ITN Factual; Arthur Martin at Daily Mail.
Maria Maloney spoke directly with the above contacts on the telephone, all of who requested a copy of the documentary; the film was now out.

19 May – to – 13 June
Pie ‘n’ Mash Films sent a Press Release email outlining the documentary and Bill’s findings to crime reporters at: News of The World; Daily Mail; The Sun; The Mirror; The Times; The Independent; Financial Times; London Metro; South London Press; Newsshopper; Kent on Sunday; Bromley Times; The Irish World; Irish Post. Emails also went to TV and radio contacts: BBC TV News London; LBC Radio; Talksport Radio and Capital Radio.

3 Jun    - Bill was working at his production studio in Whitstable, Kent and called
Dyana at her home in South London (eve), she was having a drink with a
friend (Virginia Burke) not previously known to us. Dyana told Bill that she was concerned for her security and that she had received a letter from the House of Commons. Bill asked what it was about but she didn’t want to talk about it on the phone.  He told her to look after her security because of the work he was investigating regarding child abuse and the connections with Jersey. Dyana told him “you’d better get your arse back here if you want me to feel secure!”  Bill also spoke to Virginia who was with Dyana at the time. Bill then contacted Thomas Farrell, Dyana’s long-term friend and partner (76) to see if he knew of Virginia Burke. Thomas said that he didn’t like her as she was aggressive and he wouldn’t have her in his home. It later came to our notice that Ms Burke was previously employed at Dyana’s former solicitors David Thomas & Co as a Managing Clerk. (Her name was on the Solicitor’s Letterhead).

6 Jun    - Dyana’s neighbour ‘Susan’ (who has Bipolar and lives above Dyana’s flat) called for a ‘Welfare Check’ on Dyana as she found her unconscious with dried blood around her mouth at the bottom of her stairs in the communal entrance hallway. An Ambulance took Dyana to Kings College Casualty Dept where Dr Sofia Rahman examined her.  Dyana stated being ‘punched in the chest’ within the Doctor’s report.

8 Jun – Dyana made her final call on her mobile to her partner Thomas Farrell.

12 Jun    - Dyana’s upstairs neighbour Susan reported smell to police and that she had not seen Dyana for some days. Police broke into her flat and found her dead on all fours at the end of her bed. She was with her puppy. Apparently a forensic doctor attended the scene and confirmed her death as ‘not suspicious’.

14 Jun     - Lewisham Police PC Ade Gbola (5150)PL and PC Luke visit Bill and Maria’s home to inform them of Dyana’s death. They stated that she had been dead for some time but that there were no suspicious circumstances, they had no further information available as it was being dealt with by Walworth Police.
We contacted Walworth police throughout the day with no response and were finally advised by the police enquiry line that we would have to put in a formal complaint in order to receive a response, which we did.
We eventually received a call from Inspector Mark Ambrose (Walworth Police) confirming that Dyana had been found dead, again confirming no suspicious circumstances. He informed us that PC Jodie Carson (PC248MD) was the officer who entered and found Dyana but she was not available to help with further details. We were provided with incident number: CAD 7314. He stated that we needed to contact the Southwark Coroner’s Office for information on where Dyana was held but that this would not be open until Mon 16th 8am.

- We went to Dyana’s partner Thomas Farrell to break the news to him; a neighbour, who had seen the Police outside Dyana’s flat, had already informed him earlier that day. Mr Farrell (76 and disabled with cerebral ataxia) had immediately made his way directly to Walworth Police Station when he had received the news. He asked the desk officer where his girlfriend was held and what had happened to their puppy. The officer did not know where Dyana was held and told Mr Farrell that it was a police station and not a kennels; he should try Battersea Dogs Home. We pacified Mr Farrell who was severely distressed and told him we would try and obtain the facts and find the puppy.

- We then visited Dyana’s flat with Mr Farrell who had ownership of the keys, to survey the scene. We collected any relevant records and documents along with any medical items available i.e. bottles of Diazepam; medication for epilepsy; analgesics, inhalers etc. The smell of the property where a large amount of blood remained (mainly in bedroom at end of bed) was almost unbearable.  We noted bloodstained bed sheets and resuscitation masks in the living room.

16 Jun 8am – We contacted Southwark Coroner’s Office. The Coroner dealing with Dyana was Keith Norman.  He confirmed that Dyana was in the mortuary and would need formal identification, papers signed etc which Maria Maloney agreed to do. He confirmed that Dyana was held at Greenwich Mortuary, and would confirm a date/time for ID on 17th. Maria expressed concern as to the amount of blood found at Dyana’s flat. He informed her that this is normal for bodies dead for some time as all fluids are released. Maria asked why resuscitation masks and bed covers were found in Dyana’s living room and not her bedroom, he informed her that the ambulance staff may have carried Dyana into the other room and that they are legally bound to try and resuscitate until police/forensic doctor arrives and formally announces a death. We cannot understand carrying a decomposed body from one room to the next to resuscitate. The flat was in a ransacked state.

- We called Walworth Police Station and spoke to Inspector Richard Barton who informed us that they held Dyana’s personal belongings: Mobile/Diary/Inhaler/Keys/Pills/£20. These items were available for collection but we needed to bring along evidence of Dyana and ourselves. We asked again if PC Jodie Carson, who found Dyana, was available to help with any information but we were told that she was not on duty. We asked if the police could advise as to where Dyana’s puppy had been taken and was told it had been collected by the RSPCA.  We contacted the RSPCA and were informed that they never collect dogs from police at a scene but to try Battersea Dogs Home where they would normally be held.  We contacted Battersea and they confirmed they had the puppy, which they confirmed had been bloodstained on arrival with the police. To date, we have still had no contact with the police.

- We contacted Dyana’s GP Julia Hodges to inform her of Dyana’s death and to confirm whether Dyana had any blood infections/viruses that could be carried on the dog.  She confirmed that to her knowledge Dyana carried no infections or viruses and was extremely shocked at the news of Dyana’s death as she had been a popular patient at her practice and had been doing so well.

17 Jun Early AM – Coroner Keith Norman contacted us with an apology. Dyana was, in fact, unidentifiable due to de-composition. He stated: ‘the dog had also had a little nibble at Dyana’s face’, although he confirmed that he had not personally seen her. They would therefore need to identify Dyana using dental records and Maria Maloney was no longer required to identify the body. He stated that once the Forensic Odontologist had confirmed Dyana’s identity he could release the body for funeral purposes. We expressed concern as to the body being released without having a cause/time of death etc. Mr Norman assured us that they would only need a small liver sample for toxicology results to ascertain cause/time of death and that there were no suspicious circumstances. We asked Mr Norman how he was confident of this and he informed us that he had instructed a high-level forensic pathologist to do the Post Mortem and that he was satisfied enough to release the body.

20 Jun    - Thomas Farrell (76) (Dyana’s partner) was visited at 5.45am by an alleged local drug dealer ‘Derek Green’ who demanded money from Thomas for ‘Valium’ that he had supposedly previously supplied to Dyana. Thomas had the foresight to call Maria Maloney while the Mr Green was still with him and she spoke to Mr Green directly. He told Maria that Dyana owed him £200 for valium and that people had been threatening his family and to kick his door in if he didn’t give them £200. Maria told him to provide her with his contact details and that her husband would call him regarding the situation but to leave Thomas’s property immediately whilst she was still on the phone, which he did. Maria then left it approx 15 minutes and tried the tel numbers Mr Green provided. She got through successfully and said that her husband would call him.  She then immediately contacted Walworth Police and spoke to Duty Inspector Nick Collins. She explained the situation with specific reference to Dyana’s recent death and Inspector Collins said that he would call Thomas to arrange to take a statement. PC’s Drew Hussey and Ian McFerson visited Thomas later that morning and took his statement. PC McFerson then contacted Maria to inform her that they would put a ‘priority call’ to Thomas’s address for the next 48 hours and that they would try to find Derek Green and have a ‘word with him’. (Incident Ref: 1754). We have heard nothing further regarding this incident.

23 Jun    - Received Letter from Coroner Keith Norman informing date of Dyana’s inquest as 24 Sept 08. The letter also supplied three Interim Notifications of Death certificates for funeral purposes dated 23 June 2008 which stated: ‘The precise medical cause of death has not yet been ascertained’.

24 Jun    - We cleared Dyana’s property of personal items and remained while Southwark Council fumigated.

30 Jun    - Final date to empty and collect Dyana’s property and return keys to Southwark Council. (Returned by recorded delivery).

4 Jul    - From Dyana’s personal items we managed to locate contact details for estranged twin brother and younger sister. We contacted them with the sad news (First time Bill Maloney had had contact with either in over 30 years).

9 Jul    - Dyana’s Cremation Honor Oak Crematorium. Those who attended included her partner Thomas Farrell, her family, her puppy, her GP, her former Solicitor, her support worker, Virginia Burke (friend with her on 3rd June) and some neighbours.

16 July – Maria Maloney called Max Clifford on his mobile and was told to email the story to his assistant Nichola at Max Clifford Associates, which she did.

Mid July – Bill Maloney spoke to another ‘estranged’ sister who was bought up in care with Dyana. She informed Bill that some years ago she had been involved in a child abuse enquiry (The Chile Investigation); as a result of this and because of her connections she had then been approached by the police to help them acquire paedophile ‘snuff’ movies. In 1998 she went under cover, met with a suspect and acquired videotapes containing the deaths of children on film. She provided these to the police but to date has heard nothing further from them.

22 Aug – Bill Maloney received a voice message, on his wife’s mobile telephone from former Metropolitan Police Officer and Immigration officer threatening his life after viewing the documentary Sun, Sea & Satan.

3 Sept - Received letter from Coroner Keith Norman enclosing: Evidence of ID; GP Report; Hospital report dated 6 June; Post Mortem and Toxicology report. The letter stated that they were still awaiting cause of death from pathologist. Maria contacted the Coroner’s office but Mr Norman was not available. Maria spoke to Peggy Farooqi who informed her it is quite common for there still to be no cause of death but to call the day before the inquest to see if the cause had been received as this was needed for inquest purposes. Maria also stated that there was no record or evidence of the puppy ‘nibbling’ Dyana’s body in the Post Mortem, even though Mr Norman had previously confirmed this.  As he had not personally seen the body Maria questioned why this was not included and how Mr Norman would have known this; Ms Farooqi could provide no answer.

23 Sept - We contacted the Coroner’s Office and were informed again by Ms Farooqi that Mr Norman was on holiday and was therefore not available to attend Dyana’s inquest; nor the forensic pathologist. Ms Farooqi confirmed that the pathologist had stated ‘Cause of death unascertained’. Maria expressed concern that Mr Norman and the pathologist would not be in attendance as we had issues to raise.  Ms Farooqi then subsequently left a message on Maria Maloney’s mobile that in fact the pathologist would now be able to attend the inquest.
We contacted both Southwark News and South London Press who stated that they would cover the inquest.

24 Sept - Inquest day 12 noon.

•    Article regarding Bill Maloney and Jersey Child Abuse Documentary appears in Irish World Newspaper.
•    Email received from Jersey Police Publicity Dept requesting copy of ‘Sun, Sea & Satan’ as seen in Irish World article.

- We arrived at the Coroner’s Court at 11.50am. The Inquest was delayed until approx 2.20pm.

- We presented a copy of The Irish World newspaper to the Coroner/Judge ‘Gail Elliman’ who stated that it was a little late. Bill raised questions regarding the lack of investigation and communication with his family by the police into Dyana’s death, bearing in mind they had held her mobile phone and diary which outlined some of her concerns, important contact information, and activities. Mr Maloney was asked to leave the courtroom while the Coroner had ‘five minutes’ to look at the article. All Dyana Maloney’s representatives, including the press journalist were asked to leave, leaving the PCs and pathologist in the court room for their opportunity to provide their information.

Mr Maloney was then recalled (alone) to talk to the Coroner. He was asked for his information whilst the police and pathologist remained but he requested that he be awarded the same privilege of privacy as awarded the police and pathologist as he was informed the Coroner should be impartial. He informed the Coroner that he had questions regarding Dyana’s report from Kings College Casualty regarding a ‘punch in the chest’ to which the Coroner went silent and said that she hadn’t noted this information (although it was clearly one of the statements submitted and to be used within witness statements). The Coroner then asked Mr Maloney if he thought his sister Dyana had been unlawfully killed to which he replied, “I believe my sister was murdered because of the work I did on the Crown-owned Island of Jersey”. He then re-iterated his request not to continue with a ‘secret meeting’, he would be happy to speak in an open public court, which we understood Coroner’s Courts are meant to be. The Coroner then stated that if Mr Maloney felt it was a secret meeting then he should leave. He then left the courtroom.

- Mrs Maloney returned to the courtroom to be met by the Court Usher and the PC who found Dyana.  She asked what the situation was in view of our concerns and the fact that we felt Mr Maloney had been denied the same privilege of privacy as the police and pathologist. The Usher’s attitude was stern and exasperated; Mrs Maloney reminded her that Mr Maloney was the bereaved brother and that sympathy and understanding of the circumstances should be taken into consideration and that this was a serious catalogue of errors by the relevant authorities as far as we were concerned. The Usher confirmed that the Coroner had adjourned the inquest pending further investigations and that Coroner Keith Norman would contact us on return of his holiday to inform of a further inquest date.  I thanked her and stated that this is what we ultimately required and left the courtroom.

The journalist in attendance was shocked by the procedures adopted by the court and continued to interview Mr Maloney regarding the concerns surrounding the death of Dyana.

25 Sept – Southwark News Reports ‘Family Insists Mystery Death Was Murder’ on front-page as leading cover story.

26 Sept – Pie ‘n’ Mash Films post Bill Maloney’s Interview outside the Coroner’s Court and the Trailer for Sun, Sea & Satan on their website, YouTube, and Facebook.

3 Oct – Press agency contacted Maria Maloney through Southwark News to investigate the story of Dyana’s death. The Maloney’s decided not to pursue this avenue, as they were not interested in any financial gain. However the press agent contacted both the Coroner Keith Norman and Walworth Police who informed her that there was to be no further investigation into Dyana’s death.

21 Oct – In order to ascertain the correct procedures/conduct and privacy laws in a Coroner’s Court Maria Maloney contacted:
•    The Law Society (Informed it was not their jurisdiction, they had no information and were unable to help);
•    The Solicitors Complaints Service (Informed it was not their jurisdiction, they had no information and were unable to help);
•    The Office for Judicial Complaints (Informed Maria that they believe a Coroner can chose to conduct a Coroner’s inquest in private (secret) if they deem advisable and that no Government Body can intervene with a Coroner’s decision);
•    The Ministry of Justice - Policy team of Coroner’s Unit (Informed Maria that Every Inquest must be held in public unless National Security is affected. And that everyone has the right to a public enquiry into the death of a family member.)

The Coroner’s Court did not inform us of these ‘Privacy exclusions’ on the date of the Inquest. This therefore implies that the Coroner/Judge ‘Gail Elliman’ must have deemed Dyana’s inquest as a threat to National Security. The only threat to national security in the case of Dyana’s death would be the exposure of the Establishment’s cover up into the investigation of child abuse in care homes and in her brother’s recent investigations into the alleged cover-ups of child abuse and possibly murders at Haut de la Garenne.

CONCLUSION:
Dyana Maloney was a strong ‘Womens’ and ‘Human Rights’ activist. She spent her life helping people. She was arrested in Northern Ireland by the Secret Service whilst demonstrating; She spoke for the Womens’ Rights Campaign in Trafalgar Square; She appeared on ITV’s Newsround in her twenties; and wrote a number of published articles - all for ‘good’. The horrors she experienced while under the care of the British Establishment means she should not be thrown away like this.
Bill could lift Dyana when he hugged her with one arm. He was constantly nagging her to eat and put on some weight, the Post Mortem Report describes her as “A well nourished female”.

As of 31 December 2008 neither the Coroner’s Office nor the Police have contacted Bill Maloney, Thomas Farrell, or, to our knowledge anyone connected with Dyana Maloney, other than to supply the date of resumption of Inquest.

The Maloney family wish to exercise their Right to speak in more detail at the Inquest to include reference to ‘writings’ from Dyana Maloney’s Diary which the police released to them on 17th June 2008, five days after finding Dyana dead.

ADDITIONAL RELEVANT BACKGROUND INFORMATION:

In 1970 Bill Maloney’s older brother (by three years) Peter Maloney allegedly took his own life at the age of 17 in a squat in Tonbridge Wells, Kent (an opulent area). The Pilkington Family (of Pilkington Glass) offered to pay for Peter’s funeral, as one of the senior’s of the Pilkington family, who helped struggling artists had built a relationship with Peter who was a ‘slum’ boy from a ‘slum’ part of Peckham.

In 2006 Maria Maloney contacted the Pilkington family requesting that any artwork held by Peter Maloney should be released to the Maloney family. All knowledge was denied by the Pilkingtons of any Peter Maloney, even though they had offered to pay for his funeral, which the Maloney’s angry Irish Labourer Father refused.

When Bill was at his Father’s funeral in 1977, Social Worker ‘Caroline Whitehead’ asked Bill if he wanted to see his Mother who was in a mental institution.  This he declined, as his Mother had left the whole family in poverty when Bill was just four years old to become a prostitute that she may climb from poverty herself. A short while after, Bill was told his Mother had died in the mental institution. It was only at his Sister Dyana’s funeral that he found out that his Mother had also committed suicide.

It is Bill Maloney’s belief that his poor Irish immigrant parents’ children were targeted by ‘Establishment’ paedophiles and that there is more to his Sister’s death than ‘Unascertained’.

The above Timeline and additional background  information was supplied to Kieth Norman at Southwark Coroner’s Office one week prior to the resumption of Dyana’s Inquest to be held on Friday 9th January.

09 Jan 2009 - The Inquest of Dyana Maloney resumed on Friday 9 January 2009.

The Inquest commenced as scheduled at 2.30 pm. At Southwark Coroner’s Court

Bill Maloney, Brother of Dyana, attended with his family and a close friend and colleague.  Along with the witnesses there were also three members of the press. The Maloney family noted that there was no Court Usher, and Coroner’s Assistant Keith Norman, who was to be a key witness in Dyana Maloney’s Inquest, in fact ushered them in.

As Coroner/Judge ‘Gail Elliman’ entered the courtroom all in court were requested to stand but the Maloney group remained seated.

The Coroner then proceeded to explain her duty and commenced reading the witness statements of witnesses not in attendance including:
•    Forensic Odontologist, Dr Alfred Wilfred Martin
•    Dyana Maloney’s GP, Dr Julia Hodges
•    Registrar in Emergency Kings College Hospital, Dr Sofia Rahman

The first witness called was PC Jodie Carson.
PC Carson claimed that she had a sore throat and would do her best to speak loudly enough. Mr Maloney asked the Coroner if the microphones were working, as he could not hear PC Carson. The Coroner said that they were. Mr Maloney tapped one of the microphones and informed the Coroner that they were not working. Mr Maloney vigorously fought to get the microphones on; the request was rejected. He then stated, “This is my Sister’s Inquest and I cannot hear the evidence!” He then asked the Coroner if everything was being recorded and she stated “Yes Mr Maloney, everything is being recorded”. To which he replied “Good”.

PC Carson continued with her evidence, after a very short while Mr Maloney interrupted again saying he and his group could not hear PC Carson. He then turned to the back of the courtroom and asked if there was anyone who couldn’t hear, there was a 50/50 mixed response.  The Coroner said she would repeat what PC Carson was saying, this process was put to use but didn’t last long as the Coroner was missing some of PC Carson’s dialogue. The Maloney family protested strongly.  The Inquest was turning into a farce before it had begun. The Coroner asked PC Carson if she could try to speak up just a little more, to which PC Carson replied, “I will do my best”. From hereon PC Carson managed to speak loudly enough for the whole Court to hear.

During questioning from the Coroner PC Carson stated that she was the first officer on the scene and that a neighbour had alerted the police to a bad smell and that she hadn’t seen her neighbour for a few days. During the Coroner’s questioning it was unclear whether PC Carson was alone or with a colleague. PC Carson stated that when she walked into the flat she was met by a puppy. She then entered the first door on the right, which was open (Dyana’s bedroom). PC Carson then went on to state that Dyana was crouched on all fours face down between the foot of her bed and the bedroom wall. PC Carson stated that she wasn’t sure if the body was a male or female at first and that she couldn’t see Dyana’s face. The Coroner asked PC Carson if there were any signs of external physical injuries to Dyana. PC Carson replied she could see no external injuries. Mr Maloney interrupted to tell the Coroner that his family had been told by Keith Norman (Coroner’s Officer) that the puppy had had a nibble at Dyana. The Coroner instructed Mr Maloney to be quiet. Mr Maloney ignored the Coroner and directed the question to PC Carson. Mr Maloney said “Did you see any external injuries on my Sister’s body?” The Coroner again asked Mr Maloney to be quiet. PC Carson never answered the question. The Coroner then asked PC Carson “Did you see any external injuries on Dyana Maloney?” to which PC Carson replied, “There were some red marks on the side of Dyana’s neck just below her ear.
Mr Maloney was allowed to ask PC Carson why the body had been moved from the bedroom to the back lounge. PC Carson said she wasn’t aware of the body being moved to which Mr Maloney replied “Why then was there a trail of blood leading from the bedroom to the back room? And why was there a sheet in the middle of the floor in the back room with blood on it and a resuscitation mask?  PC Carson was unable to answer these questions.

PC Carson then went on to give her account of how she had called for assistance, the response to which was the arrival on the scene of Sergeant Leigh Green. This was the first time the Maloney family had heard this name. The Coroner then asked PC Carson if Sergeant Green had investigated the scene fully. PC Carson replied, “Sergeant Green had arrived on the scene”. The Coroner then moved on. Mr Maloney asked the Coroner if PC Carson could answer her last question. The Coroner said PC Carson has answered the question to which Mr Maloney responded “You asked PC Carson if Sergeant Green had investigated the scene fully to which she replied “Sergeant Green was at the scene”, that was not answering your question”. Mr Maloney then directed his question to PC Carson “Did Sergeant Green fully investigate the scene?” to which PC Carson replied, “Sergeant Green was present”.

Mrs Maloney then interrupted and asked the Coroner if she could ask PC Carson a question to which she agreed. Mrs Maloney then stated to PC Carson that she couldn’t understand why she could not confirm that Dyana’s body had been moved when the Coroner’s Officer Keith Norman had informed Mrs Maloney that the body may have been moved by the ambulance staff in order to resuscitate the body, which they are legally bound to do until the arrival of a Doctor at the scene. PC Carson still stated that she did not move the body and was not aware of the body being moved.

Coroner's Officer takes the stand
The Coroner then asked the Coroner’s Officer Keith Norman to stand in the witness box. The Coroner asked Mr Norman if he would have advised Mrs Maloney that the body may have been moved as she had described, to which he replied “absolutely not”. Mrs Maloney stated, “You have sworn on oath Mr Norman and you absolutely did tell me that the body may have been moved”. It was at that point that the Maloney family began to protest to the Coroner that Mr Norman was lying. Mr Maloney stated that Mr Norman had also told the Maloney family that he was prepared to release Dyana’s body for cremation to which the Maloney family had shown concern as there was no cause of death and that they could be destroying evidence. But Mr Norman had assured Mrs Maloney that he was convinced that the sample of liver from Dyana would determine the cause of death. Mr Maloney tried to question Mr Norman about how he knew the puppy had nibbled Dyana’s face and why this was not in the autopsy report. The Coroner interrupted Mr Maloney and stated that she will not have her Coroner officer questioned. Mr Maloney stated that a Coroner is meant to be impartial. The Coroner said she was impartial. As the atmosphere became more heated the Coroner appeared flustered and called a five-minute recess. As Mr Maloney was on his way out of the courtroom he pointed and stated directly to Mr Norman “You are a liar Sir!”

Police Sergeant takes the stand
When the court resumed, the next witness to be called was Police Sergeant Leigh Green. The coroner asked Sergeant Green if he had fully investigated the scene, he said “I had seen a puppy with blood over its chest, on its bib if you like”.
Even though it had been reported by Battersea dogs home that there was just a small amount of blood on the dogs snout.  The Maloney’s were also told by Keith Norman (Coroners Officer) that the blood that was found came from when the body was being moved, as in its decomposed state internal fluids would be released.
If the dog only had a nibble, where did the blood come from that was on the dog’s chest, and why weren’t any references made to it in the autopsy report?

The Coroner then went on to ask Sergeant Green if he had made the apartment a crime scene? To which he replied, “No, because I had already looked around, there was no sign of false entry, all windows and doors were locked.” He said, “The place was is an unkempt state and there were empty vodka bottles”

Mrs Maloney asked Sergeant Green if he was qualified to determine whether or not Dyana’s death should be treated as a crime scene. Sergeant Green stated that he was.
Sergeant Green continued to deliver his evidence. He stated that he had spoken to Dyana’s upstairs neighbour (Susan) and she had said that she had remembered seeing Dyana arguing with a man in the street some days before and told him about Dyana being taken to Kings College Hospital on 6th June after she had found Dyana unconscious in their communal hallway with dried blood around her mouth. Sergeant Green had contacted Kings College Hospital who said that they would only supply information in person; he therefore sent PC Carson and another officer to Kings College Hospital where they confirmed that Dyana had been admitted to casualty on 6th June complaining of being punched in the chest. Mrs Maloney then asked Sergeant Green why it had taken so long for the police to contact them as the police had retained Dyana’s Diary along with her mobile phone and other documents to help find the next of kin. There were plenty of references to Bill Maloney in the Diary and he was saved and logged on her mobile phone. Sergeant Green stated that he had looked in the Diary and saw some ‘ramblings’ and comments about the upstairs neighbour being evil but that he could remember no information to find the next of kin.  Mrs Maloney asked if the Diary could be referred to as she had it with her but the Coroner refused to pursue these questions.

Mr. Maloney then interrupted asking Sergeant Green “Why wasn’t this made a crime scene? My sister was punched in the chest by an unknown assailant, and taken to Kings College Hospital six days before she was found dead, and also the law says that a decomposed body should be treated as suspicious.”  Mr.Maloney then proceeded to read a guideline from the Kent Police on how the finding of a decomposed body should be treated.
The Coroner objected, but as Mr.Maloney began to read she gave way. The document read:

“Suspicious deaths
3.1.  A death will be deemed “suspicious” when the following
    circumstances apply:

    * Sudden and unexplained infant deaths (previously known as Cot Deaths)
    * Suicides
    * Deaths – involving the use of illegal drugs or substances
    * Unidentified bodies
    * Decomposed bodies
    * Bodies found at sea
    * Recovery of human bones

3.2.  Any death, the circumstances of which arouse suspicion (potential murder or manslaughter, etc.), which may include some fatal Road Traffic Crashes (RTC) (see policy PO2) or incidents in the workplace (see policy N39A).

3.3.  The purpose of the Detective Inspector attending is to conduct an initial investigation of the death using their experience, knowledge and the circumstances surrounding the body and death. The Detective Inspector then should make an informed decision as to whether the death should continue to be treated as suspicious.

3.4.  All suspicious deaths must be reported as soon as practicable to the Area Crime Manager who should undertake a review of the investigation at that time and if necessary the duty SIO should be contacted for advice.

3.5.  A Crime Scene Investigator (CSI) will attend all incidents of suspicious death and ensure that the scene is fully photographed.

3.6.  Remember; there may be a good reason for treating a sudden death as suspicious, but a suspicious death must not be treated as a straightforward sudden death (See policy M64).

3.7.    A suspicious death should continue to be dealt with in this regards until there is sufficient justification to no longer deem the death as suspicious. It should not be deemed ‘not suspicious’ just because there is no obvious crime.”

When Mr.Maloney finished reading he then asked the Coroner “Do you think after hearing that, that all this is going alright?” To which the Coroner replied “Yes I do” Mr.Maloney continued “Then I would suggest madam that you are part of a cover up, and there is no point in us going on any further.”  It was at that point the Maloney group left the courtroom.
Sergeant Green continued to give his evidence. When the Maloney’s were outside the courtroom they decided that Maria Maloney and Regan Maloney would go back into court, as they all believe that justice was not being done, and perversion of it could be at play. Mrs Maloney and Regan Maloney went back into the courtroom; Mr Maloney and colleague remained outside the courtroom for a short while.

When Mr Maloney re-entered the courtroom Sergeant Green had finished giving his evidence.

Home Office Pathologist takes the Stand
During the questioning of the Pathologist Dr P.G. Jerreat, Bill Maloney asked the Pathologist if he could say how Dyana was killed and what time she was killed, to which the Pathologist replied: “I cannot”. When the Coroner was about to give the verdict she asked Mr Maloney to leave the courtroom, to which he complied.

Bill Maloney manhandled at BBC

Working class award winning film director is manhandled by Senior Broadcast Journalist at the BBC after being told by BBC Asian Network DJ ‘Nihal’ “Why do you keep on about this working class shit?”

On 19 November 2008 Award winning British film director Bill Maloney (who champions the causes of child sex abuse victims and the plight of the lower working classes) was invited to participate, along with a panel of invited guests, in a forum on BBC Asian Network Radio’s live ‘Nihal’s Forum’, to discuss currents issues. Bill has been a regular contributor to BBC Asian network in the past. His credibility has been built by producing low budget working class films and cutting edge documentaries. His latest documentary ‘Sun Sea & Satan’ catalogues the child sex abuse allegations at Haut de la Garenne in Jersey Channel islands and introduces fresh evidence to the case. In Sun Sea & Satan Bill Maloney presents his own investigations into the dark secrets that surround vulnerable children in care. The uniqueness of his investigation stands in the fact that he himself and his six brothers and sisters were bought up in the care of British social services, most of them were sexually abused and all were physically and psychologically abused by their social workers and carers. Two of his sisters and a brother were taken to Haut de la Garenne on bogus holidays from their London care homes. His mother was herself a prostitute and left the family home when Bill was four years old.

The issues to be discussed included: Prostitution and paying for sex; Baby P and the social services; Contraceptive jabs; Organ donation laws; and Swearing on TV.

After other forum members had provided their opinions, Bill opened up the subject of prostitution to include child prostitution, male prostitution and the influence of drugs within prostitution.  Bill fought to have his opinion heard stating:
Bill: “No, no Nihal, you can’t push me off this one, drugs are predominant amongst prostitutes”,
Nihal: “I can Bill and I will”
Bill: “Well go ahead, go ahead, this is the BBC, you’re in charge, but they do control their girls with drugs, don’t tell me that pimps don’t control their girls with drugs because I know they do!”
Nihal: “You are going to have to be quiet for a second”
Bill: “Okay Sir! Shall I sit in the corner?

This section of the forum concluded for a music break and Bill Maloney challenged Nihal off air as to his comments and his reluctance to allow Bill to speak freely. The DJ’s response was to state
“Why do you act like this?” Bill asked the DJ not to patronise him to which Nihal replied “I’m not patronising you, if I was you would know it, I’ve had people a lot tougher than you in here so if you want to bring it on, bring it on.” at which point the Senior Broadcast Journalist who runs the show went into the studio.

After discussions it appeared that the incident was diffused and the forum was to continue but when Bill was about to resume his seat the DJ provoked him further by barking
“Why do you keep on about all this working class shit?”
Bill responded vocally and by throwing a crumpled serviette towards the DJ; he felt that the DJ was trying to incite him further and got up to leave. The Senior Broadcast Journalist returned to the studio and physically tried to manhandle Bill from the room but he stood his ground. Bill told Nihal that he was insulted and called him ‘racist and prejudiced against the working class’, he told the Senior Journalist “Don’t lay another fucking finger on me as that is assault”.  Both Bill’s Producer/Wife and his PA who were accompanying him witnessed the incident along with all radio staff and guests present.

A member of staff called for Security but the Senior Broadcast Journalist accompanied Bill (who went of his own free will) off the premises. Along the way, Bill was vocal stating that the BBC are receiving £3.4 billion from license fee payers, paying exorbitant salaries to DJs and newsreaders only for them to insult non-paid guests that had been invited on to their show.  (Bill had been offered £50 or a taxi; he declined the £50 and opted for the taxi.)

Bill Maloney is being pushed by and supported by working class people who he felt were being ridiculed by the DJ. When are the BBC going to recognise that to operate as a democratic and unbiased broadcasting company, they have to include the colour, humour and opinions of the lower working class culture, who make up the bulk of society and who have re-built this country on more than one occasion.

Bill Maloney expects a formal and public apology from BBC Asian Network. He was trying to express his opinions, which he was invited on the show to do. He was asked not to swear on air, which he respected, but found it insulting to be asked, as he has never sworn on air before and would not. But he was not going to be silenced on such important and provocative issues so close to his heart.

If the BBC were prepared to sack Jonathan Ross and Russell Brand for injecting their colour, humour and ‘Laddishness’ which resulted in hurting the feelings of one actor ‘Andrew Sachs”, then the least they can do in this latest insult to Bill Maloney and the millions of working classes that he represents around the world, is apologise.

Bill Maloney – Film Director of ‘Sun Sea & Satan’.
Subject: Haut de la Garenne and St Saviours Mental Institution.

For those of you who have been following the mysterious death of my sister ‘Dyana Maloney’,
http://www.southwarknews.co.uk/00,news,12156,440,00.htm/  you may be interested to know that the Coroner’s Court dealing with my sisters case is also the venue for the ‘Jean Charles de Menezes’ killing, http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/politics/lawandorder/3192792/Jean-Charles-de-Menezes-inquest-officer-admits-changing-evidence.html where there are strong allegations of an Establishment cover-up. Since our unceremonious ejection from Southwark Coroner’s Court and after presenting new evidence to the Coroner, we have still had no word from the Coroner or the Police involved in my sister’s case; adding fuel to the fire of our own allegations of an Establishment cover-up. A very embarrassing situation for Southwark Coroner’s Court and the Establishment to have both cases so close to each other.

In my documentary ‘Sun Sea & Satan’ we are suggesting: “If a child was required ‘Haut de la Garenne’ was the venue; if an adult was required ‘St Saviours’ was the venue” (in 1962 a resident of Haut de la Garenne was told by a Psychiatrist that “If he continued his allegations of abuse he would be sent to the Mental Hospital”; the victim now lives in the UK.  The film is a compassionate and thought provoking piece of work, which takes entirely the side of the victims. Since 2004 it has been legal to practice Satanism in HM Royal Navy even though she is the head of The Church of England’.

As you are no doubt aware, your Island of Jersey is owned by the Crown and not the UK.

During the making of our film Stuart Syvret seemed to be the Politician that came out with the most credibility. When bullying tactics are used it is highly unlikely that the motive behind them is honest. This is one of the reasons why I have decided to add this piece to Mr Syvret’s Blog.

It is our belief that St Saviours Hospital should be investigated in conjunction with Haut de la Garenne at least; and possibly many other Institutions within the Island of Jersey, the UK, and anywhere else in the free world. It has also come to our notice that the sexual age of consent in the Pope’s City of The Vatican is (12), even though he has recently apologised for the Catholic Church’s worldwide child sex abuse.  How many victims from children’s institutions were moved on to mental institutions? It doesn’t take a lot to understand the insinuations and horrific implications of this possible and plausible conjecture. Jersey does not come out favourably in this documentary; we think that this can be rectified with time. I found a fear amongst many of the people on your Island. Haut de la Garenne seems to be the beginning of a fight against something that goes a lot deeper than the actual highlighted child abuse and possibly exposing the dark forces that the Queen spoke of to Paul Burrell, Butler of Princess Diana.

I can only wish the people of Jersey a peaceful and truthful outcome wherever the journey may take them.

Bill Maloney.

Dyana Maloney's Inquest adjourned pending further investigation. Interview with Bill Maloney

On 24 September 2008 Dyana Maloney, sister of Bill Maloney, had the Inquest of her death adjourned pending further investigations. Maloney refused to present his information at a 'secret meeting' and believes his sister was murdered because of the work is doing to expose child abuse in care homes. He is happy to contribute in an open court. Here's Bill's commentary outside Southwark Coroner's Court.

Donate to NSPCC in memory of Dianne Maloney

Bill Maloney's 49 year old sister Dianne Maloney tragically passed away recently. Pie 'n' Mash Films are currently working on a Docu-Drama spoof 'Billy & Lilly In NY' making comparisons  between those living rough in Harlem and London. Dianne lived on the streets for two decades from the mid seventies to the mid nineties. She was the victim on constant child abuse whilst in care, as were many of her family. She was a strong woman, an activist and a compassionate individual who always looked out for the vulnerable. Tommy(76), who she loved and cared for, was her salvation in her later years. Pie 'n' Mash Films set up an NSPCC charity page in memory of Dianne. If you are able to donate a little to the cause of neglected and abused children who need help please visit:  http://www.justgiving.com/diannemaloney    THANK YOU
'Billy & Lilly in NY' will be dedicated to Dianne in her memory.

Results from Bill Maloney's journey to Haut de la Garenne, Jersey

When Pie ‘n’ Mash Films returned from the Island of Jersey with their documentary film concerning child abuse allegations at Haut de la Garenne they named their edited footage ‘Sun, Sea & Satan’. Award winning film director Bill Maloney began to piece together the story that he had shot. Slowly the maverick director started to understand the horrors that had taken place went beyond the reporting of the case by the national media. His conjecture of Satanism, murder, sex abuse, sacrificing children and the paedophilic involvement of the hierarchy i.e. royalty, MI5 and the police state in the UK as well as Jersey, caused him to inform everyone involved with Pie ‘n’ Mash Films to be alert for the safety of themselves and their families.

Eight weeks after Bill’s return from the Island he had instructed his company to send the final edit ‘Sun, Sea & Satan’ to Channel 4 and the BBC. Two weeks after releasing the film Bill’s 49 year old sister Dyana, who was brought up in care, and had spent time in the late 60’s and early 70’s at the children’s home Haut de la Garenne, where she was sent on paedophilic sailing holidays, was found dead in her apartment, just off the Walworth Road, South East London. Cause of death could not be determined, she was found at the foot of her bed wedged between the bed and the wall on all fours. The Coroner gave Bill’s family permission to bury or cremate the body, even though cause of death could not be substantiated. The family was told by the Coroner that they had retained samples of Dyana’s liver, which they believe would determine the cause, as there were no suspicious circumstances.

In the early 70’s Bill’s brother Peter allegedly took his own life at the age of 16 in a squat at Tonbridge Wells, which is a very opulent area. The Coroner’s verdict was suicide; they found a half drunk half bottle of brandy next to him on the floor and an empty bottle of barbiturates. Peter had also been taken to Haut de la Garenne. Geoffrey Pilkington, part of The Pilkington Glass Empire at that time, developed a close relationship with Peter. Geoffrey Pilkington used his wealth and connections to promote young artists. In 2006 Bill contacted the Pilkington Glass family asking for his brother’s works of art to be returned to his family. Geoffrey Pilkington was of old age and ill and Bill was told the family and the company had no knowledge of his brother’s existence. Geoffrey Pilkington died in July 2007.

Bill and his brothers and sisters were born to Irish immigrant parents, Bill is 52. When the children weren’t in care, they resided at 112 Astbury Road, Peckham, South East London in a slum. They were a decent Irish Catholic family but ignorant to the powers of the Establishment. Bill believes his family were used by the Establishment as part of their paedophilic ring (empire) to help quench the thirst of their cruel, sadistic and satanic appetite.

Two days after Dyana’s funeral fresh stories from Haut de la Garenne were published in national newspapers. The stories exposed by Bill were duplicated by the national press. The resistance of broadcasting establishments adds further speculation to a massive establishment cover-up.

Sun, Sea & Satan has still not been allowed viewing to the public even though it has fresh clear evidence in its content. A number of years ago Bill’s surviving sister, who has changed her name for security reasons handed VHS snuff movie tapes of children in care being abused and killed to the UK police, she has to date had no response. There has been nothing reported in the news.

Pie 'n' Mash Films travel to Jersey...

Jersey!  Home of  the recently publicised  'Haut De La Garenne', a children's care home with dark secrets. Film director Bill Maloney has a sensitive and strong link to the plights of children in care. His whole family were descimated by the care of the Social Services with the majority of his  seven brothers and sisters receiving similar abuse to those in the care of Haut de la Garenne.  He felt compelled to travel to Jersey to witness first hand the general feeling of the inhabitants and to investigate why a children's care home (housing primarily working class children) should be located in the remote and opulent area of St Martin on Jersey's holiday island.

When he returns to the UK it is his mission to inform the normal loving human being as to the horrors that go on behind the windows and doors of the afluent, influential, sadistic members of our society who  lay no value on the life of a lonely, scared and vulnerable child imprisoned in a system that holds nothing but horrors and who dreams of a hero to save them.  If the normal loving human beings in society pull together as a force for change, then we as a whole may become heros for those thousands, if not millions of children around our planet who fall victim to predatory paedophiles and physical and mental abusers of babies and children.

A great day for Pie 'n'  Mash Films.  As a result of the feedback for the screening of LUNATIC at the New York International Indepedent Film and Video Festival (NYIIFVF) . US  Distributors ITN http://www.itndistribution.com have offered to represent and distribute LUNATIC at worldwide markets 'Cannes', 'AFM' and 'NAPTE'.

Meanwhile, Bill and Lilly continue to film city street dwellers to gather footage for an explosive forthcoming film. More news on this coming soon.

Pie 'n' Mash Films are on their way back from New York

The Pie  'n'  Mash promotion team are on their way back from NY as we speak.  The festival was a buzz and they did everything they had to do to represent London. I can't say it sounds like they particularly enjoyed the rest of their experience in the City that never sleeps,  apart from the documentary filming that they did in the depths of Harlem and on the streets of Manhattan.  We'll be putting this all together to share with viewers over the next few weeks.

We'll keep you all posted...

Met with NYIIFVF organisers today

There was freezing pouring rain in NY today but like the troopers they are Bill and Lil pounded the streets to gather more information that we will share with you all upon their return.

Thy had a great meeting with the heads of the festival today and we're keeping our fingers crossed for a possible award nomination.  We won't know until Thursday. We'll let you know as soon as we do if LUNATIC has been successful.

NYIIFVF Update THE JET-LAG'S GONE! The excitement's just beginning

Bill and Lilly are over the jet lag and they're now on the streets on NY comparing our societies filming  the  underprivileged and the  homeless who  seem to be completely neglected . They've met disabled guys living on the street in wheelchairs, left to depend on the few dollars they get begging.  A real eye-opener from the land of prosperity and the land of the free; the  fluffy dogs of the rich are given more respect and I bet they've got  full health insurance too!

Anyway, enough of that for now!  Feedback on the film continues to be positive with a number of press contacts requesting further  press packs and screener dvds.

LUNATIC gets great reaction in NY

LUNATIC screened at  the NYIIFVF  last night to a great reception.

It's bitter-cold in NY at the moment and  the Pie 'n' Mash  crew wrapped up in their thermals to hit the streets of NY to promote the screening of  LUNATIC.  It worked,  we had a great turn-out and applause  at the end of the film.

In  Summary:

Opening night party was huge success with  Bill Maloney, Lilly Starr and Tony Resta all being interviewed by the Festival News team.
Screening night was a huge success. Bill introduced the film to the cinema audience  to laughter and intrigue.
The last I heard they were off to the after-screening party to network with US Press, Distributors and Filmmakers from across the globe.
We've already been approached by three US distribution companies so we'll make any important decisions after careful reflections  when the Festival concluded.
As soon as  the  press interviews are up and live I'll add to our website along with the countless images they're taking.
